From the founding of the People's Republic of China to the implementation of the family planning policy,the collective economy developed rapidly,the demand for labor increased rapidly,the slogans such as "more people are more powerful," how good people are to do things,"and so on,in addition to people's deep-rooted ideas of" more children and more blessings." At the same time,the development of rural areas is backward and closed,and most people have an early age of marriage and childbearing and lack of rational understanding of childbearing,which makes the number of rural population increase sharply,the number of children in families increases,and families with many children account for a large proportion in rural areas.Now,with the aggravation of aging,the promotion and development of urbanization process,the strong mobility of rural young and middle-aged labor force,and so on,the multi-child families in rural areas will face each other.Facing a very serious problem of providing for the aged.Taking Village A of Sichuan Province as a case study,this paper adopts qualitative research method to study the way of providing for the aged of families with many children.Through in-depth interview,the data are collected and analyzed,and the research is carried out from the perspective of the sharing of the main body of support responsibility,taking the current national pension policy and the actual situation of regional pension as the starting point,combined with the development of the current pension model.Sort out and sum up the types of old-age care methods of multi-child families in A village,and divide the old-age methods of multi-child families in A village into five categories: self-care,son pension,daughter pension,rotation,special old-age care.And these five types of old-age care belong to the family pension mode.And then more,starting with the selection of different ways of providing for the aged,combined with the theories of intergenerational exchange and family division of labor,this paper analyzes the many factors that affect the choice of different ways of providing for the aged by families with many children,which are embodied in the concept,age,health and marital status of the elderly and so on;Children's educational level,quantity,sense of support responsibility,etc;the cultural atmosphere of filial piety of the family,the division of property in the early years of separation,the intergenerational exchange,the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law from the perspective of gender,the relationship between sister-in-law and sister-in-law in the family and so on.Social face culture,clan constraints,legal constraints and so on.It can be seen that the families with many children in rural areas are influenced by the ethics of consanguineous relatives,"family" and "filial piety" of cultures and other.The way of providing for the aged in rural areas will still be the mainstream for a long time.According to the summary of the old-age mode of rural families with many children,this paper puts forward the old-age of "savings-stage",which is suitable for rural families with many children.To provide solutions to the problem of providing for the aged in rural families with many children,to prepare for the coming challenges of ageing,and to provide reference for the formulation of the rural old-age security system by the state,and then improve the quality of life of the elderly group in their twilight years.
