| With the increasing prosperity of socialist market economy,Citizens need to have good financial literacy in order to play a variety of roles in economic life.For junior high school students,in order to develop themselves fully and cope with the future social life,they must receive financial literacy education from many aspects and grow into citizen with good financial literacy.The course of Morality and Rule of Law is the main channel for junior high school students to receive financial literacy education.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore that how to better implement financial literacy education in Morality and the Rule of Law course.Firstly,this paper starts from the connotation of "financial literacy",defines the meaning of "financial literacy" and "financial literacy education",and discuss the similar concepts with "financial literacy education".Construct the basic content of financial literacy education from four dimensions of consciousness,knowledge,skill and behavior.Determine the financial literacy education includes four levels: " cultivate financial and economic concepts,possess financial and economic knowledge,improve financial and economic skills and train scientific financial and economic behavior ".From the perspectives of promoting students development,adapting to the trend of curriculum reform,maintaining family harmony and adapting to social development,it is necessary to strengthen the financial literacy education in Morality and the Rule of Law course.At the same time,the financial content contained in Morality and the Rule of Law textbooks,the financial and literacy education activities in some middle schools,and the mature foreign educational experience provide a feasible basis for strengthening the financial literacy education in Morality and the Rule of Law course of junior high school.Secondly,through analyzing the content of teaching textbooks,observing classroom teaching,talking with some teachers and students,and viewing the relevant literatures,it is concluded that there are some problems in the current financial literacy education teaching in the Morality and Rule of Law course,such as target fuzzy,involve less teaching content,teachers lack financial literacy,poor effectiveness of teaching methods.This paper analyzes the reasons for the above problems from the aspects of school education,family education and social education.School educators pay insufficient attention to financial literacy education,lack of curriculum resources,and teachers’ insufficient ability are the main reasons for the low effectiveness of financial literacy education in the classroom teaching of the Morality and Rule of Law course.Parents’ wrong education concept and their own lack of deep financial literacy lead to family education not being a supplement to school financial literacy education.China’s small-scale peasant economic model,the political proposition of "emphasizing agriculture over commerce",the Confucian cultural thoughts of "valuing justice over profits" lead to lack of financial literacy education in the social environment,and it is unable to provide external support for financial literacy education in the school Morality and the Rule of Law course.Lastly,in view of the problems and causes of implementing financial literacy education in the current Morality and the Rule of Law course in junior high school,this paper puts forward some solutions from three levels of education administration,school and family.The education administration department raises the emphasis on students’ financial literacy education by formulating and promulgating relevant documents on financial literacy education,organizing training for junior high school Morality and the Rule of Law course teachers and enriching the financial content in the textbook of the Morality and Rule of Law.The school raises the effectiveness of financial literacy education in the classroom teaching of Morality and the Rule of Law course by clarifying the teaching objectives of financial literacy,improving teachers’ own financial literacy,appropriately applying various teaching methods,and developing financial literacy teaching resources.Through parents to establish the correct educational concept,improves their financial literacy,and cooperates with the school education actively to play a role in promoting the financial literacy education in the Morality and Rule of Law course. |
