| Guangdong Province is one of the fastest growing regions in China,with one-tenth of the country’s total economic output.Since the reform and opening up,with the momentum of economic development,Guangdong’s higher vocational education has entered an accelerated development stage,and the scale of development has expanded dramatically.However,in the process of development of higher vocational education,due to the obvious differences in economic,social and cultural differences between different regions,the problem of uneven development of higher vocational education is more prominent.This paper mainly uses the literature method,investigation research method and interview method to analyze the regional balanced development of higher vocational education in Guangdong Province.Using the "Evaluation Manual for Talents Training in Higher Vocational Colleges in Guangdong Province" to sort out the relevant indicators for the development of higher vocational education,through the Guangdong Statistical Yearbook,the Guangdong Higher Vocational Education Quality Annual Report,the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education,the Higher Vocational College official website data and statistics Calculate relevant indicator data.The data analysis shows that there is an imbalance between the three aspects of higher vocational education in Guangdong Province.First,the scale of the higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province and the educational opportunities are unbalanced.The imbalance is mainly reflected in the layout of higher education institutions and the size of the regional population and higher vocational education.Two aspects of educational opportunities.Second,the imbalance between higher vocational education and regional economic development in Guangdong Province is mainly reflected in the scale of higher vocational education and regional economic development,and the regional economic burden of higher vocational education.Thirdly,through the analysis of the input of human,material and financial resources in 7 higher vocational colleges in different regions,the regional high vocational education investment in Guangdong Province is not balanced.In the course of the research,it was found that the uneven development of higher vocational education in Guangdong Province can be summarized as the gap in thehuman,material and financial resources of higher vocational education in different regions.In the cause of the imbalance in the development of higher vocational education,through the literature survey and the imbalance of data analysis,it is found that some major factors have played an important role in the development of higher vocational education,and thus have been shaped to a large extent.The development of higher vocational education in this period.These main factors are attributed to economic,geographical location,government financial support and related policy factors.Relevant factors include higher vocational colleges themselves,regional history and culture,and leaders of higher vocational colleges.The countermeasures for the balanced development of higher vocational education suggest the following three aspects: First,strengthen the institutional design and macro management of regional balanced development of higher vocational education.Second,taking into account fairness and efficiency,implement a differentiated development strategy for higher vocational education.Third,strengthen regional cooperation and promote the balanced development of higher vocational education.The situation of uneven development of higher vocational education is intensifying,which is not conducive to the improvement of the overall level of higher vocational education,which is not conducive to promoting education equity and is not conducive to the harmonious development of social economy.Through the above aspects,the study on the balanced development of higher vocational education in Guangdong Province has important practical significance for the comprehensive,coordinated and sustainable development of higher vocational education in Guangdong Province,and has strategic significance for promoting educational equity.At the same time,it has certain reference value for the balanced development of higher vocational education in other provinces. |
