The ideological and political course in the middle school plays a critical role in the formation of middle school students' values and outlooks on life,which poses special teaching requirements for teachers of the ideological and political course in the middle school.Along with the development of media information technology and the arrival of new media era,all kind of good and bad information are mixed up and influence more on middle school students.The times have been put forward for middle school ideological and political teachers,which requires to enhance their own new media literacy and integrate new media technology into classroom instruction.This will realize the teaching objective of ideological and political course in middle school.This article will research both the reason and counter measure for low literacy of middle school ideological and political teachers.Teachers pay less importance to the new media,which leads to the lack operation technology.We can start from two aspects to improve the new media literacy of middle school ideological teachers.Firstly,cultivate teachers' correct acknowledge of new media tools and improve teachers' attention to new media teaching.Then,improve the teachers' use of new media by training and test their new media literacy.Only by doing both can we effectively improve the new media literacy of middle school ideological and political teachers.In this article,there are three parts to support the objective.The first one is the theory outline,explains the nature of the new media literacy and its related elements,and the demonstrates the necessity of promoting the new media literacy of middle school ideological and political teachers.The second one is the status analysis,In this part,we mainly use case analysis method to collect fist-hand data through questionnaires and interviews and consult relevant literature,systematically collate and analyze these data by using relevant theories,and summarize the current situation and problems of middle school ideological and political teachers' new media literacy.The last one is to provide specific measures to solve the problems.This paper holds that in order to effectively improve the new media literacy of middle school ideological and political teachers,comprehensive measures should be taken from the five specific perspectives of concept,resources,training,assessment and reference,so as to promote middle school ideological and political teachers to attach importance to the concept,and put into practice,and actively integrate new teaching methods into teaching.At the same time,middle schools should also provide sufficient conditions for teachers and formulate reasonable positive assessment,so as to stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers to use new media literacy of middle school ideological and political teachers can be effectively improved.
