Teenagers are the future of the motherland.Teenagers’ physical health is related to the happiness of every family.Teenagers’ physical condition directly reflects the basic level of a nation’s health.After entering the 21 st century,the quality of life of our people has been steadily improved,but at the same time,the comprehensive physical quality of young students has been declining,and the health situation is even worrying.Students study for a long time and have limited time for rest and exercise.In addition to the weekly "Sports and Health" course in school,the other sports time is very little.It is difficult to ensure that young students have a healthy body and a strong physique only by carrying out general in-school and extracurricular sports activities.As an important part of school extracurricular sports activities,large class break has important value,especially in primary school extracurricular sports activities.This topic has a certain significance for further enriching the large-scale extracurricular sports activities in schools.Through understanding the present situation of the sports activities in the primary school break in the urban-rural integration demonstration area of Kaifeng,selecting the primary schools with more characteristics than the sports break in the urban-rural integration demonstration area of Kaifeng to investigate,visiting the relevant leaders of the sports department of Kaifeng city’s education and sports bureau,understanding the opening situation of the sports activities in the primary school break in the demonstration area of Kaifeng city,studying the selected cases,finding out the problems and summarizing the experience,and forming the countermeasures and implementation measures with reference value.It provides a certain reference for the sustainable development of primary school sports activities in Kaifeng demonstration area and a certain theoretical basis.In this paper,the current situation of primary school sports activities in Kaifeng city’s urban-rural integration demonstration area is taken as the research object,and the current situation of primary school sports activities in Kaifeng city’s urban-rural integration demonstration area is specifically studied by using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,interview and case analysis,and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)In Kaifeng demonstration area of urban-rural integration,the goal setting of large-scale physical education activities in primary schools is relatively clear,the system construction is relatively perfect,the organization is reasonable,and the time schedule is usually five or four times a week,25-35 minutes each time.(2)The content setting of Large-Break sports activities is not diversified,innovative and interesting.Schools mainly set the content of Large-Break sports activities according to their own sports venues,specific conditions of equipment,and changes in time and season.The main form of exercise in Large-Break sports activities is that the whole school students are together.There are also forms of exercise for students of different grades and classes.There are fewer forms of exercise for students to combine voluntarily or according to their interests.(3)Only a few PE teachers in the Large-Break sports activities of primary schools in Kaifeng demonstration area of urban-rural integration think that the school sports venues and sports equipment meet the needs of Large-Break sports activities,and the narrow sports venues and the lack of sports equipment still need to be solved.(4)Most of the primary school physical education teachers can reasonably arrange each semester,monthly and weekly physical education activities cycle plan according to the actual situation of each school,and the implementation process will also make corresponding adjustments according to the unexpected situation.(5)The demonstration area of urban-rural integration in Kaifeng often organizes the whole district primary school front-line PE teachers to watch and observe the large-time sports activities of excellent schools,but many primary school large-time sports activities have no target evaluation system,which is not conducive to the better development of large-time sports activities.(6)The main obstacles are: students’ heavy learning pressure,dull content of sports activities,single form,lack of sports venues and equipment,too few physical education teachers,and lack of corresponding training to guide students effectively.There are also some hidden safety problems in the process of Large-Break sports activities.The lack of target evaluation system,school-based characteristics of the large class break,at the same time,do not ignore students ’personal sports hobbies and personality development.
