As an organic part of China’s basic education,preschool education is related to the long-term development of the country and the quality of personnel training.Its importance is self-evident.In the case that the number of public kindergartens is obviously insufficient,private kindergartens occupy half of the preschool education in China,and private kindergarten teachers are gradually becoming the main force of preschool education.Preschool teachers are the practitioners of preschool education and an important force in preschool education.It is the key to developing preschool education to ensure the good mental health of preschool teachers.However,at present,due to the influence of multiple factors,kindergarten “child abuse” incidents frequently occur,and the mental health problems of private kindergarten teachers are increasingly prominent.In this study,the psychological self-rating scale(SCL-90)and the self-edited interview outline were used to investigate the mental health of teachers in private kindergartens in Liaoning Province.The results showed that the mental health of teachers in private kindergartens in Liaoning Province was higher.Health is more optimistic.Compared with primary and secondary school teachers and public kindergarten teachers,the mental health level of private kindergarten teachers in Liaoning Province is significantly higher than that of these two groups.In terms of influencing factors,in addition to teaching age factors and positive emotional factors,there are significant differences in age,marital status,grade of teaching,income level,education level,career well-being,job burnout,and pay and return.Based on the above research results,this study proposes the following policy recommendations: Establish a private kindergarten supervision system,standardize the internal management of kindergartens;attach importance to the training of private kindergarten teachers,strengthen the construction of teachers’ professional ethics;improve the social status and salary of private kindergarten teachers,and attract outstanding talents to teach.
