Ancient poetry teaching is an important part of junior high school Chinese teaching.In the Chinese textbooks of official version for junior high school,the ancient poetry has been proportionally increased compared with the PEP edition,which not only provides a broader platform and space for the ancient poetry teaching,but also brings great challenges to it.How to fulfill the required teaching task with high quality and enhance students' language literacy in the limited teaching time has become an urgent problem in junior high school ancient poetry teaching.Thematic teaching is such a distinctive teaching method that can meet this requirement.The “theme” in thematic teaching,the core of teaching content within a certain teaching time,can both integrate the relevant reading resources and govern the teaching elements.Combined with the concept of thematic teaching,this thesis digs deep into the meanings and characters of thematic teaching,summarizing that thematic teaching has the characteristics of theming course content,integrating course resources,structuring knowledge learning and solving problem.These characteristics suit the requirements of raising students' ability under the current background of big data,and correspond to the editorial features of the newly published Chinese textbooks of official version for junior high school.The application of thematic teaching in junior high school ancient poetry teaching can not only make the teaching objectives of ancient poetry more specific,the teaching content more abundant and the teaching efficiency more improved,but also encourage students to study ancient poetry more actively,thus effectively improving the efficiency and effect of ancient poetry teaching.Combined with the concept and characteristics of thematic teaching,this thesis analyzes and classifies the selected articles in the high school Chinese textbooks of official version in detail.Based on the study of real teaching cases of current Chinese teacher who applies thematic teaching,this thesis puts forward the application strategies of thematic teaching in junior high school ancient poetry teaching: using subject to organize poetry,using imagery to organize poetry,using author to organize poetry and using emotion to organize poetry.In the current era and under the background of big data,Chinese subjects have put forward higher requirements for students to accumulate knowledge and process texts.Theteaching of ancient poetry should not only focus on the quantity,but also on students' understanding,perception and application of poetry.This thesis is hoped to provide reference to the efficient operation of junior high school ancient poetry teaching and make contribution to the improvement of its effect.
