The purpose of this study is to further analyze the current high school music textbooks in Taiwan,so as to deepen the understanding of mainland counterparts' music education in Taiwan,and facilitate further exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the field of music education,contributing to the peaceful development of cross-strait relations.In this version,Huaxing people version,Taiyu version of the three edition of Taiwan senior high school music textbooks as the research object,the knowledge content,practice content,listen to the content as the research subject,mainly adopts the methods of literature,statistics,comparative analysis,field research,trying to explore the characteristics of Taiwan high school music teaching materials.First of all,the study of the high school music class issued in 2008 in Taiwan was carried out to summarize the ideas and the basis of the textbook reform.Then on the three edition of the music of in-depth and systematic research,the results of this study show that:Taiwan high school music teaching has the characteristics of internationalization,open and popular,and the localization of the students focus on Chinese and foreign music history,cultural pluralism and local culture,emphasizing the students'musical ability and other skills,such as teamwork,media use capability and creativity.And western music nouns,terminology,song translation present a diversified trend,not only different from the mainland,but the translation of each edition of the textbook is not the same.Besides,Taiwan high school music teaching material has obvious tendency of "de Sinicization",and placing Chinese music in the "World Music" part is worthy of academic attention.
