Educational anxiety is a statement of nervousness and anxiety from people who takes education seriously,however,the social problems reflected behind it are more thought-provoking.As a middle-class group that has grown stronger with rapid social reform,because of its important role in social development,the problems presented by this group have received much attention from the society.Especially in the field of education,the education anxiety that the middle class appears is the most significant among the whole society.By reviewing the relative literatures,the author finds that the research on the education anxiety of the middle class has surged since 2012,and in the past three years,the analysis of the education anxiety of the middle class in different disciplines has been deepening,which provides useful enlightenment and motivation for the author to choose the education anxiety of the middle class as a research issue.The problem of education anxiety among the middle class is also reflected in some hot topics in the current society,such as the “school selecting heat”,“study-abroad heat”,“diploma fever” and the “early childhood education fever” that has risen rapidly in recent years,etc.,with the strong participation of the middle class can even be said that it is the main force on these hot social issues.Through the combing and theoretical accumulation of the education related education of the middle class,using the research methods such as the literature research method,the historical research method and the interview method,combined with the relevant theories of educational sociology,this study will focus on the theoretical perspective of social stratification and the difference in educational capital generated by the interaction of human capital,cultural capital,and social capital to analyze the education anxiety of the middle class.In the context of social stratification,education plays a very important role in the realization of social mobility at all levels,and the return from educational investment can be directly perceived and recognized by society in a certain period of time,the middle class,in order to ensure its own and children's class status,the middle class has not stopped for the possession and pursuit of educational resources.For this reason,the education anxiety of the middle class isthe most prominent;As for the difference in educational capital,the human capital investment in the initial stage of education,the degree of cultural capital of the family as a whole,and the acquisition and accumulation of social capital all determine the future of the middle class to a certain extent.For the middle class,pay much attention to and increase the input on education can alleviate the impact of differences in educational capital to a certain extent.The research framework of this study intends to discuss the education anxiety of the middle class from the following aspects: Firstly,it sorts out the historical situation of China's middle class,including the problems of production,development and confrontation,which help the macro understanding to know about the middle class.To study the educational anxiety of the middle class,it is the most basic and necessary to sort out the relevant history of the middle class in China.Secondly,combined with relevant theoretical research at home and abroad,it analyzes the problem of education anxiety of middle class in China,including social stratification and social mobility theory,and educational capital theory under the effects of the human capital,the cultural capital,the social capital and the perspective of social psychology.Thirdly,combined with the existing research on the definition of the middle class,select interviewees and make some interviews and investigations to further explore the education anxiety of the middle class,highlight the reasons and ideas behind it with realistic evidence theory.Finally,conducting an in-depth analysis of the education anxiety of the middle class and then put forward the possibility of thinking about this problem.All in all,the author tries to use the domestic and international research on educational sociology to give theoretical explanation and realistic evidence to the educational anxiety of the middle class in China,to further understand the relationship between education and social stratification and social mobility.Through the study of the problem on the educational anxiety of middle class,reflecting the author's deep thinking about the education problem in the real society.
