The cultivation of interest is an enduring topic.Educators at home and abroad strongly advocate that the new curriculum of geography also proposes the goals of "cultivating the necessary geographical accomplishment for modern citizens","learning useful geography for life" and "learning useful geography for life development".Then,under the new curriculum concept,geography teachers,in order to train students to study geography interest,achieve teaching tasks,from the existing knowledge background of students,to create students enjoy the teaching situation,trigger students 'emotional experience,improve students' local participation in classroom teaching,to add vitality to the middle school geography classroom teaching activities.Starting from the new curriculum concept and the modern education concept,this paper combines the relevant educational theories on the basis of Chinese and foreign educationalists 'interest in learning and the results of the situation teaching,and through the related questionnaire survey of the students in the internship school,studies how to create a situation that can foster middle school students to learn geography directly and indirectly.
