At present,Most of the researches in the ability of geographical practice focus on student behavior,school and teacher teaching behavior,paying less attention to the impact of the family environment on the ability of geographic practice.Therefore,this paper chooses this content,mainly taking Chengdu experimental middle school as an example to study the influence of family environment on high school students'geographical practice ability.The main content of this research is to study the relationship between students'family environment and students' geographic practice.It mainly adopts the form of questionnaire survey and scoring scale,supplemented by the parent interview.The family environment includes the family financial situation,the family structure,the degree of parental education and the type of occupation,and the parents expect.Students'geographic practice can include geographical observation and investigation ability,geographical experiment ability,geographical tool use ability,and geographical problem processing ability.The results are as follows:The students' family economic situation,parents' cultural degree and career type and parents' expectations of children can make the difference in the students' geographical practice ability.And family structure does not affect student's geographic practice ability.Based on the family environment,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the cultivation of high school student's geographical practical ability,and gives some concrete examples.There are three aspects:students,parents and school.Students and parents are important members of the family,and school is also an important link to train students'geographical practice ability.Therefore,schools need to cooperate with parents to cultivate student's geographical practice ability.
