Reading teaching is an important part of Chinese subject.The main task of reading teaching is to cultivate students' good reading ability and habit.The cultivation of reading ability and habit not only requires students to learn a single text in class,but also requires students to read the whole book in a purposeful and planned way.The main task of this paper is to compile the reading list of the whole book of junior middle school according to the reading ability and the integrity of the curriculum that junior middle school students need to master.Based on the compilation of the reading list of the whole book,this paper explores how to effectively move towards the operational level of the whole book reading,and how to carry out the whole book reading activities according to different types of bibliography and different learning stages of students.This paper consists of five parts.The introduction part discusses the origin of the research on the whole book reading,the research status at home and abroad,briefly summarizes the selection criteria of the former research on the whole book reading,the basic class type of the whole book reading activity,and the research path and method of this paper.Two sides of the first chapter mainly introduces the whole book reading,read the whole book of the "one" refers to the whole book reading to students' real reading experience as the main body,"both sides" refers to the whole book reading "side" to consider the integrity of the program,"the other",in accordance with the reading ability of middle school students need to master,in a planned way,have a purpose,in order to carry out the whole book reading activities.The second chapter compiles the reading list of the whole book according to the "one book and two sides" of the whole book.In this paper,when selecting the reading list of the whole book,the reading list of the whole book mainly comes from the bibliography recommended by the introduction of famous books in the textbook,the bibliography recommended by the "self-reading recommendation" section after the introduction of each famous book,the bibliography selected from the single text,and the bibliography recommended by the "reading tips" section of the self-reading text.Based on Chinese textbooks,reading objectives of each grade of junior high school,students' reading ability and the integrity of the curriculum plan,a set of reading bibliography of the whole book for junior high school is prepared.This paper recommends18 books for junior middle school students,5 books for grade 7,7 books for grade 8 and 6books for grade 9,aiming at expanding students' reading scope and improving their reading quantity through compiling the reading list of the whole book.The third chapter is the case study of the whole book reading.This paper selects three books of different genres from the whole book reading bibliography compiled in the second chapter to carry out the case study of the whole book reading.In grade seven,an essay was selected for the whole book reading design;in grade eight,a novel was selected for the whole book reading design;in grade nine,a poem was selected for the whole book reading design.Based on different grades of students,different types of bibliography,reflecting the whole book in the reading plan,reading task arrangement and other aspects of the differences.The fourth chapter is the whole book reading in Chinese classroom teaching practice,in the form of classroom observation report to explore the whole book reading activities in the real process of operation in some of the gains and shortcomings.The summary part demonstrates the significance of the whole book reading to the reading teaching in junior high school,and puts forward relevant Suggestions for the reading direction of the whole book.
