| For the first time, the Standards for General High School Chinese Curriculum(2017Edition)listed "Whole Book Reading and Discussion" as the first of the language learning task group.Reading the whole book has become the norm of reading and the main way of learning for students,in order to further improve the core literacy of students and respond to the needs of language curriculum reform, the whole book reading is valued by most scholars and experts, and the angles and contents of their research are also different. The rapid development of the media makes high school students no longer limited in reading activities, massive information resources mobilize students’ enthusiasm for active exploration and search, and "cross-media reading" has become a new reading method outside of traditional reading. In addition,a single book browsing can no longer meet the needs of students for reading, extracurricular electronic media spread rapidly, the amount of content is large, with its rich resources and new reading methods to attract students to wander among them.Based on the needs of students reading in the new era and the textbook requirements for reading the whole book, this study attempts to use "cross-media reading" as a means to explore the teaching strategy of reading the whole book that integrates cross-media,so that it can open up a new learning method for students to read and learn the whole book, and provide some ideas for teachers to read and teach the whole book. This paper is mainly divided into the following aspects:The introduction section mainly introduces the research significance, literature review and research methodsThe first chapter is an elaboration of the concept of cross-media and whole book reading, and the feasibility analysis of cross-media application to the teaching of whole book reading.Specifically divided into three aspects, the first is to define the concepts of "cross-media" and "cross-media reading",and to explain the proposal of "cross-media reading" teaching;secondly,to define the concepts of "whole book" and "whole book reading",and to explain the proposal of "whole book reading" teaching Finally, the theoretical basis for the application of cross-media to the teaching of reading throughout the book is elaborated, namely the theory of self-efficacy and the theory of constructivism. On the basis of providing a theoretical basis for research, the practical basis of cross-media application in the reading teaching of the whole book is expounded,on the one hand,it meets the requirements of the core literacy of the new language curriculum standard, and on the other hand,it is in line with the characteristics of the new era under the characteristics of the media change. The second chapter is a questionnaire to investigate the current situation of reading teaching for high school students in a cross-media perspective, and analyze its results to explain its problems and reasons. For the content of the questionnaire of the students, the results are analyzed on the reading expectations of the whole book, the type of reading of the whole book, the reading style and habits of the whole book, the reading time and efficiency of the whole book, the content and difficulty of reading the whole book, and the guidance and harvest of the whole book reading;for the content of the questionnaire of the teacher,it mainly includes the teacher’s understanding of the reading of the whole book, the activity of the teacher to carry out the reading of the whole book, the way the teacher teaches the whole book reading and teaching, and the teacher’s feedback on the reading and teaching of the whole book.Analyze and elaborate the results of the questionnaire.Through the analysis of the survey results,it was found that the problem of reading the whole book in high school Chinese was mainly reflected in the following four aspects: school, teachers, media, students and the overall reading of the whole book. The causes of these five aspects of the problem are examined to provide data support for the strategic exploration of the paper. The third chapter is a book-wide teaching strategy based on cross-media.On the one hand,it proposes strategies from the aspect of setting the reading activities of the whole book, including the initial reading period, the promotion period, the summary period and the evaluation period;on the other hand,it mainly gives specific strategies from the reading methods of the whole book, including intensive reading and skimming, independent reading and group reading, teacher guidance and student learning. The specific strategic content takes "Ordinary World" as an example. The fourth chapter is based on a cross-media case study of the entire book reading teaching, taking "Ordinary World" as an example for strategic discussion. On the one hand,it is to analyze the reasons for choosing "Ordinary World";on the other hand, according to the teaching plan arrangement, the teaching link of "Ordinary World" is designed for the whole book. The main contents include three aspects: "introduction class","seminar class" and "demonstration class".The concluding part is an overview and summary of the existing research results, and proposes ideas for future in-depth research. |
