Problem-Based Learning(PBL)is centered on students and based on situational problems close to life,which is intended to guide students to learn cooperate and explore autonomously.In addition,it is hoped that PBL can make students master knowledge,reconstruct knowledge system and improve students' ability to discover,analyze and solve problems.All the aims mentioned above are coincided with the view put forward in the Standard of Mathematics Curriculum for Senior High School(2017 Edition)that education should pay more emphasis on common development of knowledge and ability.Especially considering the current situation that teachers are difficult to teach and students are difficult to learn in function teaching,it is important to know how to supplement and consolidate the routine function teaching,cultivate students' ability to describe functions as well as solve practical problems.Based on the theory and practice,this paper is aimed at putting PBL model into practice on mathematics classroom in senior high school.In order to expound the connotation,characteristics and merits of PBL model,the author firstly looked up and summarized the literature related to PBL teaching both at home and abroad.Secondly,the contents and implementation paths of PBL model in senior high school mathematics classroom are introduced in detail.Finally,the author is inclined to take two parallel classes in a provincial demonstration senior high school as the experimental subjects and take function teaching in compulsory one as the experimental content.The experiment lasts for 14 weeks.During the experiment the test paper,the questionnaire,interviews and classroom observations were applied to investigate the interest,participation,autonomous learning consciousness,knowledge mastery degree and problem awareness of students in experimental class and control class.Pass through the analysis and research,the following conclusions are drawn: PBL model can help to enhance students' interest in learning and classroom participation;PBL model can help to improve students' consciousness of autonomous learning;PBL model can help to improve teaching effect;PBL model can help to cultivate students' ability to solve problems.
