Function is one of the basic concepts of modern mathematics,it is a main line running through high school mathematics,which occupies the central position in high school mathematics curriculum,and is the focus and difficulty of teacher teaching.With the continuous development of high school education and mathematics subjects,"Teaching A General High School Textbooks and Mathematics" written and revised according to the General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017edition)was promulgated on May 9,2019.Therefore,this study attempts to analyze the subject of functions based on the subject of the curriculum and teaching materials,through the investigation of the learning difficulties of the current high school students in the topic of functions and the teaching problems of teachers and the analysis of the causes,put forward the improvement of the teaching of function topics.The analysis of curriculum standards and teaching materials based on function topics found that: function topics are transformed from modular design ideas to highlight main lines,thematic design ideas;Firstly,the teaching materials are optimized and integrated in the arrangement of macro content and the change of micro-knowledge points,secondly,the teaching materials highlight the exploration and thinking activities,the proportion of relevant content of mathematics culture is strengthened,and the mathematical modeling plate is increased,and finally the teaching materials are designed in three levels on the selection and setting of exercises,and the comprehensive difficulty of the sample exercises is enhanced.Based on the results of the survey and interview analysis of the learning status of students on function topics,it is found that the difficulties of learning function topics are mainly manifested in: difficulty in understanding abstract concepts related to functions;The teaching problems of function topics are mainly manifested in:insufficient understanding and understanding of the functional content of new teaching materials,lack of attention to the relevant content of mathematics culture,limited ability to apply information technology,and lack of connection between function teaching and real life.In order to further optimize and improve the teaching of function topics,on the basis of the analysis of new subjects and new teaching materials,the paper puts forward the improvement ideas of functional teaching for the learning difficulties of functional students and teachers' teaching problems: First,to carry out functional teaching in accordance with the requirements of curriculum standards;...
