The main purpose of this paper is to use the "Professional Proficiency Test Table for Preschool Teachers" and "Professional Identity Questionnaire for Preschool Teachers" to explore the current status of professional competence and professional identity of preschool teachers in K City of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region under the background of developing preschool education with quality.The relationship between professional competence and professional identity of preschool teachers provides a basis for promoting the professional development of preschool teachers and stimulating the professional identity of preschool teachers.It also verifies the previous research conclusions about the professional competence and professional identity of preschool teachers.In this paper,116 kindergarten teachers from 63 kindergartens in K city were selected as survey objects,and questionnaires were used to collect information and analyzed by SPSS22.0 software.In-depth interviews were conducted to provide an in-depth understanding of the professional competence and professional identity of preschool teachers.According to the statistical results of preschool teachers’ professional ability and professional identity,the difference test of demographic variables is carried out,and the relationship between professional ability and professional identity is analyzed.Multiple regression analysis is used to analyze the influence of professional identity on the professional ability of preschool teachers.research shows:(1)The professional performance of kindergarten teachers in K city is not balanced.Among them,the game activity organization and guidance ability index is the highest,while the incentive and evaluation ability index is the lowest.The preschool teachers’ professional ability is in age,teaching age,grade,class and There is no statistically significant difference in the title.(2)The professional identity of kindergarten teachers in K city is not balanced.Among them,the occupational behavior tendency factor index is the highest and the role value index is the lowest.There is no statistically significant difference in age,grade,class and title.(3)Academic qualifications,professional background,preparation and salary levels have an impact on the professional competence and professional identity of kindergarten teachers in K,but the degree of influence is different.(4)Through further regression analysis,it is found that the professional values of preschool teachers’ professional identity can predict the dimensions of their professional ability well.It can be seen that the professional identity of kindergarten teachers affects professional competence.However,the degree of prediction is low.Analyze and discuss the factors affecting the professional competence and professional identity of preschool teachers,and make recommendations.Relevant government departments should formulate reasonable salary plans for preschool teachers,properly solve the problem of preschool teachers’ preparation,strengthen the training of preschool teachers,and strengthen the professional reflection of preschool teachers themselves.Do a good job in career planning,with a view to promoting the professional development of preschool teachers and enhancing the professional identity of preschool teachers.
