| Research shows that preschool teachers are unstable and highly mobile,and one of the reasons for this phenomenon is the low professional identity of preschool teachers.In order to analyze the reasons for the low professional identity of preschool teachers,We investigated from work pressure,work-family conflict,general self-efficacy and professional identity among 794 preschool teachers from 10 counties in a central province of China.The results showed that:(1)There is a negative correlation between preschool teachers’ work pressure and their professional identity.Among them,The factors such as work load,work expectation,work environment and interpersonal relationship,social status and development,and children’s factors in the aspect of work stress are significantly negative correlated with professional will,emotion and need in the aspect of professional identity.In addition,the factors which are included in the work stress such as work load,work expectation,work environment and interpersonal relationship,and children’s factors are significantly negative correlated with professional cognitive,which is another factor in professional identity;(2)In the negative relationship between the preschool teachers’ job stress and preschool teachers’ professional identity,the work-family conflict is playing an intermediary role,it reduces the preschool teachers’ professional identity;(3)The influence of work-family conflict on professional identity of preschool teachers is regulated by the general sense of self-efficacy: For individuals,the higher sense of self-efficacy,the less reduction of occupational will and occupational emotion caused by work-family conflict.Studies show that the professional identity of preschool teachers can be enhanced by reducing the working pressure of preschool teachers,easing the conflict between work and family,and improving the general self-efficacy.We suggest that we should focus on four aspects such as kindergarten,preschool teachers,parents,teacher training to take measures to improve the professional identity:(1)the kindergarten should reduce the workload,promote public understanding of preschool teachers’ professional characteristics,improve the social status and reputation,improve the salary,organize seminars regularly,and provide more opportunities for preschool teachers’ self-improvement;(2)preschool teachers should enhance their career will,keep learning to improve professional ability,cultivate a variety of interests to regulate emotions and work pressure;(3)children’s parents should respect preschool teachers and actively provide available resources;(4)improving preschool teachers’ professional ability and development consciousness through promoting teacher training. |
