The middle grade of primary school is the third and fourth grade;the assignments at this stage are the first complete chinese composition task of the students in the true sense.The success or failure of the teaching is related to the cultivation of students' interest and the sustainable development of their ability.The evaluation of the Chinese composition is an important link of helping students to improve their abilities of the chinese composition to examine the gains and losses of this link;it has an important significance to recognize the reasons for the students' low ability of the chinese composition and to find solutions.Through the examination about the link of the chinese composition evaluation,it is conducive to the improvement of students' ability of the composition and Chinese level.This thesis takes the chinese composition evaluation of students who are the second stage of primary school as the object of research,and investigates the status quo on students' composition evaluation of students of middle grade in the city of Primary Schools in the city of K by interviews,questionnaires and classroom observations and so on,In order to sort out the status quo and existing problems of the composition evaluation on students of middle grade in the city of K,and analyze the reasons and propose solutions.The study first introduces the pedagogical theory followed by the research,and secondly elaborates the design and practical process of the survey.Through interviews,questionnaires and classroom observations,the status quo and problems of composition evaluation on students of middle grade in three primary schools were studied.The research elaborates from five aspects: evaluation subject;evaluation method;evaluation content;evaluation process and evaluation criteria,and with detailed investigation data,interviews and the result of classroom observations to sort out the status quo of the composition evaluation on students of middle grade in three primary schools.The questionnaire of student found that teachers accounted for 97.5% of the evaluation subject;2.8% did not write reviews.The results of questionnaire about teachers shows that 66.7% of teachers considered the content of the composition(whether the idea and of composition can match the topics)as the most important choice;more than 90% of teachers think that the composition evaluation has a great help for students;44.4% of teachers think that the composition evaluation is put out the request in accordance with the Chinese curriculum standards and the Chinese textbooks.On the basis of the status quo,this study analyses the problems existing in the corresponding five links,and analyses problems and reasons on five aspects,including the lack of subject diversity;the heavy task of evaluation;the insufficient time of evaluation;the lack of composition evaluation attitude about teachers that with the humanistic care and the ability of artistic language evaluation;teachers' understanding of the evaluation criteria for exercises are shallow;and so on.At the end of the study,countermeasures are put forward to solve the problems aimed to five aspects.It includes the introduction about evaluation subject of parents and students,exchange the quantity with the quality,and reduce the frequency of composition homework,improve the professional quality of teachers;teachers should evaluate their composition evaluation attitudes with fair and scientific,and carry out composition evaluation work with the composition evaluation criteria that can stimulate students' interest in composition and improve the overall quality of students.
