Augumentation Teaching belongs to the category of Science Education,It is a teaching model which brings argumentation of activity into the classroom,and it ad vocates positive interaction and critical thinking.The study research the application of argumentative teaching strategy in biology of high school,in order to develop the student’s scientific thinking and scientific inquiry ability.The writer refer to a large number of documents for establishing theoretical b asis,go through the practice of demonstration teaching strategy in a halves,excav ating the content of teaching material of demonstration teaching strategy.According to the methods of questionnaire investigation,case analysis and group experiment,we can research the feasibility of applying the demonstration teaching strategy to t he biology in high school O In the teaching,students through experiments,books,n etwork and other channels to collect information.According to the information,the proposition is questioned and refuted in the discussion link so as to perfect or m odify the proposition.Through the process of demonstration teaching,We can stimu late the student to study the interest,improving students’scientific inquiry ability a nd scientific thinking ability.It makes students acquire good study habit that respe ct facts and evidence,dare to question and be rigorous and serious.Based on the research,the students in the experimental group have a significa nt improvement in scientific thinking,scientific inquiry ability and demonstration a bility compared with the control group.The demonstration teaching strategy is suit able for the biological theory,the experiment course and the review class.Both te achers and students can benefit a lot from the demonstration activities.But throug h questionnaires,there are some problems such as teachers’unfamiliarity with the theory of argumentation strategy resulting conflicts with the arrangement of school teaching contents.In practical teaching,the applying of argumentation strategy is not universal.This research is attempt to explore how to carry out argumentation t caching in senior high school biology teaching,so as to provide reference for our senior middle school biology teaching strategy selection and practice.
