After the core literacy group of the history of normal high school in September 2016 determined the core literacy of history subjects,how to cultivate the core literacy of middle school students in history teaching has become the subject of many scholars' attention and research.As an important historical curriculum resource,the local history resources are relatively lacking in the research of cultivating high school students' literacy.It is hoped that this topic can enrich the research of current academic circles and provide a new research direction for the current history teaching reform.As a historical and cultural city in Shanxi province,Gaoping has magical folk stories,rich historical sites,famous historical events,numerous historical figures and unique local customs.To this end,the author has used the literature research method to sort out the local history resources of Gaoping city.In order to understand the utilization of local history resources and the awareness of high school students and history teachers on the core literacy of history subjects,the author used questionnaires and interviews to survey the high school liberal arts students in two high schools in Gaoping city.And the history teachers conducted interviews.The author found that there are still some problems in the history teaching,such as low utilization rate of local history resources and insufficient understanding of the core literacy of history subjects by teachers and students.Therefore,the author tries to use the case analysis method to select the historical history resources of Gaoping city related to the writing of the Yuelu version of the history textbook and applys different teaching methods to the history teaching,so as to cultivate the core literacy of history subjects of high school students.On the basis of this research,the author believes that the development and utilization of local history resources and the cultivation of core literacy of historical disciplines should be supported by all sectors of society.Schools and education departments should also establish a website for local history teaching resources as soon as possible,and strengthen guidance and training for history teachers.History teachers should establish a correct sense of local history teaching and choose and use typical local history resources for teaching to cultivate the core literacy of history subjects of high school students.
