With the advancement of quality education reform and the new curriculum standards gradually,the connotation of art education has become wide increasingly.And the traditional teaching methods have been unable to meet the teaching needs of junior high school art courses.Picture books as a kind of interesting reading book which integrates artistry and knowledge not only own high aesthetic value,but also have certain educational functions,and it can be transformed into high-quality art teaching resources.The introduction of picture book creation into junior high school art curriculum can not only broaden students’ artistic vision and enhance their art skills,but also provide students with a way of self-expression,which is conducive to stimulating students’ creativity and learning interest.Therefore,the teaching research of picture book creation plays an active role in expanding art teaching resources,innovating art teaching methods and improving students’ comprehensive ability.Therefore,this paper carries out research and practice to explore the teaching methods and strategies of picture book creation in junior high school art curriculum through the following five levels:(1)Through the analysis of the concept of picture book,interpretation of the new curriculum standards and elaboration of art resources to explore the feasibility of developing picture book creation curriculum in junior high school art teaching;(2)It explains the practical value of the picture book creation teaching in terms of knowledge,skills,ability and interest;(3)It explores the teaching strategies from three aspects: firstly,it analyses the basis of choosing teaching examples,secondly,it discusses the design of the picture book creation teaching mode,and finally it summarizes the teaching design methods through excellent case analysis.(4)The concrete practice of the picture book creation teaching: It elaborates the process of teaching design and practice in terms of the four stages: the appreciation,inquiry,creation and communication,and then the students’ works will also be analyzed.(5)Reflections and summaries of the picture book creation teaching:By the way of questionnaires,classroom interaction analysis and homework feedback,this study summarizes the strengths and weaknesses for putting forward some suggestions to improve the teaching,which expected to provide useful references for the development of picture book creation curriculum in junior high schools in the future.
