Research On Disciplinary Sanction Of Chinese Football Association

Chinese Football Association(CFA for short)is the only national non-profit social organization for football in China.Imposing punishment is one of the important and influenced contents for sport organizations to perform their management functions.the disciplinary punishment decision issued by CFA is an intra-industry punishment imposed for violations of discipline.It should standardize the order of the football match and ensure fair atmosphere for football competition.This study will start from the nature and power sources of CFA to explore its legality of the right of punishment.This study takes the disciplinary sanction exercised by CFA as the research object,and combine the statistics of punishment decisions in recent years by adopting the method of literature,case studying and interviewing.This paper analyzes the objects,causes,bases,procedures and forms of the punishment involved in the exercising of disciplinary sanction by CFA.The problems and corresponding remedy mechanisms in the punishment are further discussed.Finally,it concludes that the development of Chinese football requires disciplinary sanction;The exercise of disciplinary sanction has played a significant positive role in football;Now CFA has some problems in the formulation of rules,subject qualification,procedures and sentencing in the exercise of disciplinary sanction;The remedy mechanisms include hearing,arbitration of CFA,arbitration of CAS and judicial sanction,but they also need more research in the future.
