In the teaching Chinese as a Second language,effective management of the classroom is not only the basis for the smooth progress of teaching activities,but also an important guarantee for good teaching quality.However,during my teaching at Cadet College Petaro in Pakistan,I found that classroom management is a huge challenge for Chinese teachers.The problems frequently occurs in the Chinese classroom by the students of Cadet College Petaro,which mainly includes covert violations,conflicts,non-compliance,non-compliance with teachers,disturbance and mischief.The endless stream of classroom problems not only hampered the enthusiasm of Chinese teachers but also had a greater impact on the effectiveness of Chinese teaching.Therefore,this article takes nearly 700 Chinese learners from the Confucius Classroom at Cadet College Petaro in Pakistan as the research object and explores the practical teaching process of Chinese teachers at Cadet College Petaro through literature research,questionnaire survey,case analysis and classroom observation.I encountered challenges in classroom management and made personal suggestions.I hope that Chinese teachers can predict the potential problems of classroom management in Pakistan,improve the classroom management ability of Chinese teachers,and provide some reference for classroom management of Chinese teachers in Muslim areas.This article is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the origin,purpose and significance of the research,related literature review and research ideas and methods.The second part introduces the basic situation of the Confucius Classroom at Cadet College Petaro and summarizes the six problem behaviors of the Confucius Classroom students at Cadet College Petaro.The third part analyzes the causes of students' classroom behaviors from three aspects: students,teachers and schools.The fourth part puts forward the author's personal suggestions for the existing problems.
