As an important teaching idea,emotional education includes the education and cultivation of students’ emotion,emotion,ideological attitude and values,as well as their ideological quality and humanistic feelings.The construction of the emotional world of high school students has been relatively mature,in a very critical stage of emotional shaping.As the modern and contemporary prose which can embody the characteristic of emotional appeal,it naturally bears the heavy responsibility of emotional education for senior high school students.The implementation of emotional education in modern and contemporary prose plays a vital role in the formation of students’ thinking in images,the enrichment of students’ imagination,the shaping of students’ good hearts,the perfection of students’ self-personality and the promotion of students’ all-round development.Therefore,this paper attempts to analyze the items of modern and contemporary prose in Chinese textbooks for senior middle schools and the current situation of the emotional education of modern and contemporary prose,and puts forward some suggestions and strategies suitable for the emotional education of modern and contemporary prose in senior Middle Schools Promoting the effective implementation of emotional education of modern and contemporary prose in senior high school.The full text is divided into four major parts: the first part:Introduction,introduces the origin of the research of this article,summarizes the related research of "emotion" in the domestic emotional education and the modern and contemporary prose teaching,clarify the research ideas and methods of this paper.The second part: First,the essay,modern and contemporary prose,emotional education,Chinese emotional education and modern and contemporary prose emotionaleducation are defined This paper expounds the theoretical basis of the research from three aspects of psychology,pedagogy and Chinese teaching theory.The third part mainly analyzes modern and contemporary prose as the carrier of emotional education,the number,layout,proportion and the characteristics of this literary genre in Chinese textbooks It emphasizes the necessity of carrying out emotional education in modern and contemporary prose in senior high school.The fourth part mainly analyzes a series of difficulties and reasons in the process of carrying out modern and contemporary emotional education in senior high school through the questionnaire distributed in the NTH Middle School of Nanning.The fifth part is aimed at a series of difficulties and reasons in the implementation of modern and contemporary prose emotional education in high school,and puts forward the strategies to solve the problems.
