The connection between kindergartens and primary schools has become a heated issue in pre-school education in recent years.Both domestic and foreign researchers have carried deep researches on various factors related to the connection between kindergartens and primary schools.The connection between kindergartens and primary schools is a two-direction transitional period between kindergartens and primary schools.The period calls for focus on both kindergartens and primary schools.At present,most researches on connection between kindergartens and primary schools focus on the transition from kindergartens to primary schools,while there are less researches on the education of the transition from primary schools to kindergartens.Therefore,in this paper,I will focus my research on the mutual connection between kindergartens and primary schools.A survey has been carried out of the mutual connection between affiliated kindergarten and primary school of some certain normal university in Changchun City through the method of observation and interview.Based on collected data,strategies and suggestions of the mutual connection between kindergartens and primary schools have been proposed after the analysis of the current situation and problems of the connection between kindergartens and primary schools.There are five part in the paper.The first part is an introduction of the causes,significance,literature review and design of the research.The second part states theoretical basis of the the connection between kindergartens and primary schools such as ecological system theory,sociocultural theory and Huck's fault theory.The third part is an illustration of factors related to the mutual connection between kindergartens and primary schools.The research on cases will be conducted from four aspects including the cultivation of study qualities,the connection of study content,the connection of living environment and the cultivation of social social adaptive ability.The fourth part is an analysis of the current situation and causes.Through observation and interview,the current situation information of the mutual connection between kindergartens and primary school has been collected.The current situation is as follows: focuses both on knowledge accumulation and study qualities,emphasis on the cultivation of social adaptive ability,emphasis on the connection of teaching environment and the lack of communication between teachers in the kindergarten and the primary school.The reasons of the situation are influences of teachers' professional levels on the connection between kindergartens and primary school,advanced ideas since the building of the kindergarten and the primary school,rich teaching resources,lack in communicative awareness and platforms.The fifth part proposes implementing measures of the connection between kindergartens and primary schools on the basis of theoretical guidance.Specific measures include learning advanced ideas from foreign countries,updating mutual-connection models,issuing related laws and regulations by government in order to intervene in the issue effectively,making full use of community resources to promote mutual connection,fostering communication and cooperation between kindergarten and primary school teachers and launching diversified connection activities.
