In the context of the information age,people’s competitive pressures are getting bigger and bigger.A person who can learn,who can quickly absorb advanced knowledge,will be highly competitive in the future information society.The premise of absorbing knowledge is to learn to read.Today,with the rapid development of society and economy,people’s reading ability is the basic ability of one’s lifelong learning and development,and is regarded as an important and highly valuable ability.Early reading is particularly important in the reading of human beings at all stages.Therefore,parent-child reading is getting more and more attention in the current family life.Now many women choose to leave the workplace and return to the family,become full-time mothers,and devote themselves to family education.In order to let their children not fall behind other children in this highly competitive society,full-time mothers usually strive to improve their abilities and skills so that they can better help their children grow and develop.The current full-time mothers are very concerned about their parent-child reading ability.They believe that only their own parent-child reading ability can improve their children’s reading ability,and they can help them develop a better reading.Through the use of group social work,this study explores and solves the problem of parent-child reading ability improvement of full-time mothers.After the community overview and the current situation of parent-child family reading in the community,this paper firstly analyzes the need for the parent-child reading ability of the full-time mother in the community.Secondly,we use practical methods to explore the methods and dimensions of group work to intervene in full-time mothers’ parent-child reading ability,in order to improve the reading ability of full-time mothers through the process of group work,so that full-time mothers can better accompany their children to read and grow together.Therefore,the author is based on the full-time mother of ShenZhen R community to provide professional group work for the client,to help them progress with the theory and methods of social work,in the group activities,the author designed the five-group Activities,and the insertion of multiple group games related to the ability to enhance,so that the team members can release themselves in a more relaxed and pleasant group atmosphere,mobilize the enthusiasm of the team members,and improve the effectiveness of the team work.
