The Practice Research Of Social Work Improving Parent-Child Relationship Of Single Parent

In recent decades, people’s concept of marriage and family has undergone a significant change, with the country’s industrialization and urbanization accelerated. Before the reform, women were bounded by the traditional concept of marriage, and divorce was not recognized by the society. So women always chose to maintain the stability of family at the expense of personal happiness. But in modern times, because traditional "family oriented" concept is gradually fading, individual-based values is growing, and the divorce rate is increasing every year, the single parent families are also increasing quickly.With the emergence of single-parent families, social problems have become increasingly serious and prominent, most single mothers with children facing multiple problems, such as survival, remarriage issues, parenting issues and health issues. So the problem and social impact of single-mother has attracted wide attention.To solve the difficulties of single mother group, this paper will start with the parent-child counseling service of single parents, based on the single mother families group’s characteristics and difficulties, aiming at family problems, physical and mental health and close relationship to analyze the demands of counseling service, explore the ways and contents of single mother families to provide services and seeking the strategy to solve the plight of single mothers group.Study of single mother family and marriage counseling can not only enrich the content of social work research, broadening the field of social work research; the parties can also make suggestions for Sunshine Mothers Project’s counseling service, it should pay attention to single mother’s psychological growth; for the healthy development of families, single mothers should consider remarriage; consider to carry out special topic service; the society should eliminate the social cognitive biases and errors of single mother families; perfect social security policy for single dear mother and family support system.
