Parent-child communication is a problem that every family will encounter.It plays a key role in regulating family relationship and enhancing parent-child intimacy.In recent years,with the increasing divorce rate in China,the proportion of single-parent families has also increased.The social public’s prejudice and misunderstanding of single-parent families,as well as the incomplete family function caused by the lack of family members,on the one hand,make parents bear more responsibilities and pressure,on the other hand,shape and have irreversible effects on their children’s psychological status and personality,such as lack of security,self-negation,resistance to interaction with the outside world and so on.Compared with parent-child communication in the whole family,parent-child communication is more faced with no communication,resistance to communication and so on.Through the previous unstructured interviews,the author learned that there are the following problems in parent-child communication in single-parent families: communication mode solidification,topic appearance,emotional fluctuation,lack of a certain degree of empathy and patience between the two sides.This paper analyzes the causes of the problems from the two levels of society and family.Through the group work research method,with the mirror self theory and the superiority angle theory as the theory support,from the parent-child two sides communication consciousness,the communication skill and the communication ability three aspects carries on the intervention,aims to discover the ability in the question,exerts the superiority,and guides the parent-child both sides to use actively.The author runs through the whole process of social work professional intervention skills,guides parents and children to explore effective communication skills and form correct expression,stimulates communication desire,and improves bad communication mode.In the later stage,according to the development of the group,the evaluation work is carried out from three aspects: content planning,group process and group effectiveness.This study deeply understands the single parent family through the parent-child communication level,carries on the certain practical exploration to the social work intervention single parent family domain,helps the single parent family to form the good family communication atmosphere,promotes the single parent family parent-child relationship harmonious development.
