Abstract/Summary:
The SPARK course is a school physical education course organized and developed by San Diego State University,USA.The courses developed mainly include physical education courses in primary,middle,and high schools.As an integrated physical education course,the SPARK course has been widely used in primary and secondary schools in the United States and has won the love of students and teachers.With the deepening of the reform of our country’s physical education curriculum,we are also continuing to learn advanced teaching concepts,teaching methods and content at home and abroad.At present,the research on SPARK courses in China mainly focuses on the introduction of courses and the application of the courses.However,there is less research on applying the SPARK curriculum concepts to a certain sports physical education class.The purpose of this paper is to study the application of SPARK curriculum concepts in primary school tennis teaching.Under the guidance of the concept of SPARK curriculum,combine the teaching content and plan of elementary school tennis lessons.60 students were randomly selected from the fifth grade students of Haidian District Foreign Language Experimental School.30 students were selected as experimental subjects by testing indicators such as physical fitness and sports learning interest scales.They were divided into experimental and control groups.group.Two groups of students were required to have no significant differences in 50 m runs,50 m x 8 round-trips,vital capacity,and basic tennis techniques.The SPARK curriculum concept was introduced in the tennis teaching of the experimental group,while the traditional teaching method was used for teaching in the control group.The research methods adopted in this study include literature and data methods,questionnaire survey methods,experimental methods,and mathematical statistics methods.Through the experiment,the experiment group was introduced into the tennis lesson of the SPARK curriculum concept and the tennis lesson of the traditional teaching model.The main research results are as follows:(1)The concept of SPARK introduced in the elementary school tennis class effectively increased the students’ interest in sports learning and their participation in sports,but there was no significant difference in the effect of students’ autonomous learning ability.(2)In the classroom where the SPARK curriculum concept was introduced to the teaching of tennis,the students’ endurance(spirit capacity,50m×8 round trips)improved more significantly.It shows that the introduction of the SPARK curriculum concept in elementary school tennis lessons is beneficial to the development of students’ cardiopulmonary function and endurance.According to the data of the 50-meter run,the 50-meter run results of both groups of students have increased,but there is no There is a big difference.(3)Introducing the SPARK curriculum concept in the primary school tennis class.The scores of the back-and-forth strikes of this group of students are generally higher than those of the traditional teaching model.It shows that the SPARK curriculum idea can make students enter the learning state quickly,improve the students’ participation and excitement in the classroom,achieve a good teaching atmosphere,and help students improve their learning quality.(4)In the tennis lesson of the SPARK course,the time for students to practice their own activities is guaranteed,and students spend less time in the classroom to take up the entire class.
