| The lack of interest in adolescent sports learning is one of the most important issues related to adolescent sports participation and physical health. As a comprehensive physical education curriculum, SPARK has been concerned by many domestic researchers and sports teaching practitioners since the introduction from the United States in 2009. This research takes SPARK curriculum concept as the core, including two parts of school sports and extracurricular activities. Via applying experimental methods and taking the students of Linghang Table Tennis Club and Kaiyuan Table Tennis Club in Jinan and some of the students’ parents as experimental subjects, this thesis explores the impact of physical teaching modes and family factors on students’ learning interests in table tennis training outside the campus under the concept of the SPARK curriculum. The main conclusions of the teaching experiment are as follows:1. Before the experiment, students’ interest of table tennis learning is above average and the interest of boys in table tennis learning is higher than that of the girls’.2. After the experiment, students’ interest of table tennis learning in each group increased contrasting with the previous test results. And different factors also have different degrees of effects on table tennis learning interest. Girls’ interest of table tennis learning is higher than boys’ after the experiment.3. The concept of SPARK curriculum and the participation of family members can improve students’ interest in table tennis learning. On the contrary, application of traditional teaching way can easily have negative influence on students’ table tennis learning interest, especially for boys. The SPARK teaching in improving degree of table tennis learning interest is larger than family factors. SPARK teaching combined with family factors will be more helpful to maintain students’ learning interest in table tennis.Girls’ table tennis learning interest is more easily to cultivate, and their participation in sports also easily to active. The students’ interest in table tennis learning showed a trend of decline as they grew older.4. Compared with traditional teaching, application of SPARK teaching and parents’participation have greater influence on boys’ table tennis learning interest than girls’ in the dimension of sports participation and attention. In negative interest dimension, application SPARK teaching and parents’ participation have greater influence on girls’table tennis learning interest than boys’. In positive interest dimension, family factors have greater influence on boy’s table tennis learning interest, while SPARK teaching method has greater influence on girls’.5. Experimental study shows that: SPARK curriculum concept can be applied to the the table tennis training that outside of school, schools, families, off-campus sports clubs can be combined with each other and learn from each other.According to the research results which have been mentioned above, here I put forward some suggestions:1. Physical education outside school should strengthen the cooperation and interaction between family and the school.2. Extracurricular physical education needs to make some modification on the traditional teaching methods, and should pay attention to the common progress of sports learning and cultural learning.3. Family education should change the concept of education. |
