| Education is the root of national development,it promotes the development of a country’s productive forces and spiritual growth.The 21 st century is the era of rapid growth of knowledge,the development of knowledge is inseparable from the cultivation of talents,the emergence of talents and education is inseparable.Strengthening the importance of education and comprehensively improving the quality of education is the only way for the country to strengthen the efforts in personnel training.Higher education is located at the top of education.Its development level not only plays a significant role in the innovation ability of the country and the nation,but also has a significant impact on the ideological thickness and cultural inheritance of the Chinese nation.College students,as the reserve talents needed for the future development of the country,play an important role in the development of the country.Now academic procrastination has become a big problem for college students.Both self-determination motivation and time management tendency have some influence on academic delay.In this context,the study on the interaction between them not only enriches the existing research,but also has important significance for solving the problem of college students’ academic delay and improving the quality of higher education.This study refer to self-determination motivation,time management disposition and delay of the related literature at home and abroad,academic motivation theories in time,self adjusting theory and self-determination theory and related theory as the foundation,construct to self-determination motivation and academic procrastination,respectively,dependent and independent variables and time management disposition for mediation theory model,and put forward a series of assumptions.Then statistical software SPSS23.0 and AMOS23.0 were used to analyze the data of 379 valid questionnaires.The reliability and validity of the scale were tested,and descriptive statistics,correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted to verify the hypothesis proposed in this paper.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn: the self-determination motivation of college students in Shanxi Province has a significantnegative predictive effect on academic delay;Self-determination motivation has significant positive predictive effect on time management tendency.Time management tendency has significant negative predictive effect on academic delay.Time management tendency plays an intermediary role between self-determination motivation and academic delay.The innovation points of this paper are as follows: first,according to the existing domestic literature,there are many researches on the individual variables of self-determination motivation and academic delay,but few researches are related to them.When time management tendency is added as a mediator,there is little research on the relationship between the three.This research deepened the understanding of college students’ academic procrastination,deeper understanding of the self-determination motivation,time management disposition and the mechanism of action between academic procrastination,enriched the existing research,after for the management of colleges and universities,teachers’ teaching management and student’s own development provides a new train of thought and method,improve the deficiency of the existing situation.Second,this paper constructs a relationship model with self-determination motivation and academic delay as independent variables and dependent variables,and time management tendency as the intermediary,and tests the relationship among the three variables.By means of empirical research,the paper analyzes the mechanism of action among self-determination motivation,time management tendency and academic procrastination in detail.The research in this paper expands the scope of existing research and makes a more thorough study on the variable of academic delay. |
