Application Of Mathematics Culture In High School Mathematics Teaching

Mathematics has always been an important teaching content in the field of education.It is a subject that pays equal attention to theory and practice.The"Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017)" clearly proposes that the cultural value of mathematics should be highlighted in the process of mathematics teaching.Exposed to mathematics culture,students’ enthusiasm for mathematics learning will be stimulated.Therefore,the students are willing to explore the principles of mathematics knowledge and master the skills of mathematics knowledge.All these are the result of the excavation and application of mathematics culture.From this,we can see that mathematics culture is an important factor in mathematics class.In high school mathematics teaching,mathematics culture and teaching content complement each other.While innovating teaching forms,it is also conducive to enrich mathematics classroom and give full play to the moral,intellectual and aesthetic functions of mathematics.However,it can be seen from the current high school mathematics teaching practice that the integration of mathematics culture is in its first step,and the application of mathematics culture is still facing many challenges.For example,some mathematics teachers themselves have very little knowledge of mathematics culture,and lack the ability to control the application of mathematics culture in practical teaching.Moreover,due to the long-term influence of examination-oriented education,both teachers and students lack a correct understanding of the application value of mathematics culture.These problems have brought new challenges to the development of high school mathematics teaching.Based on this,this paper takes constructivism learning theory,subjective education theory,the new edition of ordinary senior high school mathematics curriculum standard(2017 edition)and other educational theories as guiding ideology,investigates and studies how to apply mathematics culture in senior high school mathematics teaching,and puts forward effective strategies for the application of mathematics culture in senior high school mathematics teaching.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature research,observation,questionnaire and interview to investigate a high school in Changbai Mountain Administrative Committee.This paper analyzes the current situation of the application of mathematical culture in high school mathematics teaching,and puts forward the deficiency of the application of mathematical culture and its causes.The reasons are as follow.First,the teachers lack objective understanding of "mathematical culture".Second,the penetration of mathematics culture" in mathematics teaching is insufficient.Third,lack of available information.Fourth,they are affected by examination-oriented education.Last,the teaching form of mathematics culture is greater than the content.In view of these problems,the author puts forward specific strategies for the application of high school mathematics culture.First of all,teachers’ understanding of mathematics culture should be corrected.Besids,teachers’ ability to dig up teaching materials should be improved.Meanwhile,the teachers should highlight quality education through mathematics culture.It is hoped that the research of this topic can provide some useful theoretical and practical references for the optimization and improvement of high school mathematics teaching,promote the organic integration of mathematics culture and mathematics teaching,realize the coordinated development of moral education,intellectual education and aesthetic education in high school mathematics classroom,and truly improve the students’ mathematics core literacy.
