| 1 ObjectivesIn this experiment,a 12-week exercise training intervention was conducted for people who were on compulsory detoxification depression taking methamphetamine drugs.The level of depression and levels of plasma neurotrophic factors NGF,BDNF,NT-3,and NT-4 were measured before and after exercise training.Examining the effect of exercise on the depression level of people with compulsory detoxification depression,and analyze its related mechanisms to provide a theoretical basis for the psychological and physical rehabilitation of detoxification personnel.2 Objectives and methodsSubjects:The 1089 male detoxification personnel in the compulsory isolation detoxification center in Bai Ni Lake,Hunan Province was selected as the screening subjects.Screening of physical health to exclude people who have used traditional drugs,infectious diseases,mental diseases,cardiovascular diseases and physical disability.Removing those who left early,resettled,and quit midway.The SDS self-rating scale was used to evaluate depression.Finally,105 subjects were selected,among which 70 were depressed and 35 were non-depressed.Using the method of equidistant random sampling,they were divided into depression control group,depression exercise group,and non-depression control group,and each group had 35 persons.Methods:The low-intensity exercise training was performed in the first to second weeks of the depressive exercise group to adapt.In the third to seventh weeks of middle-and low-intensity exercise training.Weeks 8 to 12 for moderate-intensity exercise training.The POLAR V800 remote-sensing heart rate meter was used to monitor the real-time heart rate of the subjects in the exercise group during exercise.No exercise intervention was performed in both control groups.The scores of the SDS depression self-assessment scale were measured and evaluated and plasma NGF,BDNF,NT-3,and NT-4 levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for all subjects before and after the experiment.The statistical methods mainly used covariance analysis and Person correlation analysis.Covariance analysis could exclude the influence of routine care and the score of depression self-rating scale before intervention on the experimental results.3 ResultsResults of covariance analysis of SDS depression self-rating scale:The standard score of SDS of the depression exercise group was lower than that of the depression control group(P<0.01).Rough score of psycho-emotional symptoms of the depression exercise group was lower than that of the depression control group(P<0.05).Rough score for somatic disorders of the depression exercise group was lower than that of the depression control group(P<0.05).Rough score for psychomotor disorder of the depression exercise group was lower than that of the depression control group(P<0.01).Rough score for mental disorder of the depression exercise group was lower than that of the depression control group(P<0.01).Score for easy to cry,easy to be tired,restless,empty feeling of the depression exercise group was lower than that of the depression control group(P<0.01).Score for sleep disorders,palpitations,despair,irritability,and uselessness of the depression exercise group was lower than that of the depression control group(P<0.05).Score for weight loss of the depression exercise group was lower than that of the depression control group(P<0.01).Results of neurotrophic factor covariance analysis:The level of plasma NGF in the depressive exercise group was significantly higher than that in the depressive control group(P<0.05),the level of plasma BDNF in depression group was lower than in depression group(P<0.01),the level of plasma NT-3 in depression group was lower than in depressive group(P<0.01),the level of plasma NT-4 in depression group was lower than in depression group(P<0.01).Results of t-test of independent sample of neurotrophic factor before exercise:the level of plasma NGF of non-depressive control group was significantly higher than that depressive control group(P<0.01),the level of plasma BDNF in the non-depressive control group was significantly higher than that in the depression control group(P<0.01),the level of plasma NT-3 in the non-depressive control group was significantly higher than that in the depression control group(P<0.01),and the level of plasma NT-4 in the non-depressive control group was significantly higher than that in the depression control group(P<0.01).Before and after intervention,plasma NGF level in the depressive exercise group increased,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05),plasma NGF level in the depressive control group significantly decreased(P<0.05),plasma BDNF level in the depressive exercise group decreased significantly(P<0.01),plasma BDNF level in the depression control group significantly increased(P<0.05),plasma NT-3 level in the depressive exercise group significantly increased(P<0.01),plasma NT-3 level in the depressive control group significantly increased(P<0.01),there was no significant difference in plasma NT-4 level in the depressive exercise group(P>0.05),plasma NT-4 level in the depressive control group significantly increased(P<0.01).Non-parametric Pearson correlation analysis results:the correlation coefficient between plasma NGF and SDS was-0.336(P<0.01),the correlation coefficient between plasma BDNF and SDS was-0.351(P<0.01),The correlation coefficient between plasma NT-3 and SDS was-0.401(P<0.01),the correlation coefficient between plasma NT-4 and SDS was-0.413(P<0.01).4 Conclusion4.1 The 12-week exercise training can significantly improve the depression level of people who are forced to stop drug addiction and depression,including alleviating psycho-emotional symptoms,somatic disorders and psychomotor disorders and so on,and promote their psychological recovery.4.2 The 12-week exercise training can maintain the stability of plasma NGF levels in compulsory detoxification-depressive persons,prevent the physiological decline of NGF levels,and at the same time,can make the plasma NT-3,NT-4 and BDNF levels benign.4.3 Depression levels in compulsory detoxification personnel are closely related to levels of neurotrophic factors NGF,BDNF,NT-3 and NT-4.Exercise training may improve the depressive symptoms of obligatory detoxification people by actively regulating the levels of neurotrophic factors NGF,BDNF,NT-3 and NT-4. |
