Research On The Construction Of New-type Think Tanks In Local Universities

With the continuous development of China's economy and society and the acceleration of the pace of political system reform,the construction of new-type think tanks has become the most important part of the modernization of China's national governance system and national governance capacity.Since18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the central government has attached great importance to the participation of think tanks in decision-making and consultation,which can be seen from the collective study of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee,the relevant instructions of the central leaders,the expert consultation on major decision-making meetings conducted by the State Council and various ministries,and seminar arrangements of think tanks.In these think tanks,university think tanks are important contents of building new-type think tanks of Chinese characteristics.However,at present,the construction of university think tanks in China,especially in local universities,is obviously lagging behind,which is incompatible with the needs of local economic and social development.Therefore,vigorously promoting the construction of new-type think tanks in local universities has become an important mission for local universities to further serve local economic development and enhance the competitiveness of culture and science and technology.According to the investigation of the think tanks of Hunan University of Science and Technology,this paper analyzes and summarizes the achievements,existing problems and reasons existing in the construction of the think tank of local university.And then,this paper puts forward the corresponding development methods and hopes to provide some helpful value for the development of the think tank of local university.The main contents of the paper are as follows.Firstly,it presents the topic background,importance and related works,and then explains the research concepts,research methods and innovations.Secondly,it expounds the definition,connotation,classification and relevant theoretical basis of the construction of new-type think tank in local university.Thirdly,taking Hunan University of Science and Technology as an example,the present situation of its think tank construction is systematically analyzed,and the existing problems are evaluated.Finally,in view of the problems in the construction of the new-type think tank of Hunan University of Science and Technology,this paper puts forward the corresponding improvement measures from three aspects: optimizing the external environment,improving its own quality,and building an effective information platform.
