Since the reform and opening up,especially since the market reform, the role of unit system in social integration has gradually declined. With the reform of the unit system, industrial workers in the past under the shade of the unit system are facing fierce competition in the employment market, and career transformation has become the general trend.Career transformation research of industrial workers in state-owned enterprises can provide reference samples for the career development of workers in state-owned enterprises under the reform of unit system,so as to revitalize the old industrial base in Northeast China, activate the internal labor market of state-owned enterprises, and construct harmonious labor relations, which has strong theoretical value and practical significance.Based on Bourdieu's theory of practice and grounded theory, this paper presents the status quo and characteristics of industrial workers' career transformation in state-owned enterprises in three dimensions through the experience of B Factory in the Northeast China, and explores the multiple orientations of industrial workers'career development under the reform of unit system. From the four aspects of field struggle, habitual formation, capital operation and strategy selection, this paper dynamically analyses the process of industrial workers' career transformation, explores the motivation, feasibility and social consequences of their career transformation, and actively responds to the conceptual framework of practical theory.Industrial workers' occupational field structure, habits of occupational behavior, capital operation and occupational strategy choice together shape their career transformation path. From the perspective of social stability and social harmony, this paper studies the dilemma, conditions and mechanism of industrial workers' career transformation in state-owned enterprises.Aiming at the protection of workers' rights and interests, the process of marketization and individual capital accumulation,it explores how to improve the market adaptability and occupation of industrial workers from three dimensions:social environment, unit enterprises and industrial workers. The feasible path of transformation capability. The study found that the reform of the unit system is the logical starting point for the industrial workers' career transition in state-owned enterprises.Under the dual influence of social transformation and system transformation, industrial workers of state-owned enterprises actively explore the way out of their career transformation.Firstly, the time and space background of occupational field transformation has shaped the behavioral habits of industrial workers in state-owned enterprises and become a super-economic factor influencing the occupational transformation of industrial workers, and has made them have strong path dependence.Secondly, the production and reproduction of industrial workers' social networks in state-owned enterprises need the accumulation of economic capital, cultural capital and social capital, and their market exchange capacity needs to be strengthened.Thirdly, the occupational mobility and status breakthrough of industrial workers in state-owned enterprises show that some state-owned enterprises in the old industrial base of Northeast China have become a human resources depressed reservoir.Under the reform of the unit system, industrial workers have three choices of occupational transformation, that is,to remain in the state-owned enterprises of the unit system,to play two occupational roles at the same time,to leave the state-owned enterprises of the unit system and to start new occupations. The direction of occupational transformation of industrial workers is mostly self-employed,and a small number of industrial workers will enter the new organizational structure. In a word, since the reform and opening up,China's market economy has developed vigorously. As a product of planned economy, the social integration of unit system has gradually diminished. With the reform of the unit system, the forms of collective distribution such as employment and housing have gradually withdrawn from the historical stage, and the control ability of the state-owned and collective units is weakened, and they are actively transforming to the market. The reform of unit system is closely related to the survival of industrial workers. In the future, the direction of the reform of the unit system will still be to continuously reduce the responsibility of the unit, transfer its functions to the market, and eventually integrate into the market environment. In the era of post-unit system, industrial workers need to gradually adapt to the market competition environment, prepare for career transformation, better operate capital to obtain exchange conditions in the market, and try more career transformation directions.
