Literary education which influences children before entering school plays an important role in the education system.The literature forms,such as stories that are heard from the elders in childhood,or pictures and texts,are implicitly integrated into our personal life as driving forces.There are also a lot of examples that stories heard in childhood have impacts on lifetime.From this point of view,the importance of literary education cannot be ignored.Literary education is to cultivate the ability to understand and appreciate literary works,experiencing the richness and diversity of literature.By cultivating and improving the cognitive competence and insight of beauty,people can have a good emotional mode.The emotions or actions expressed by the characters who reflect the writer' s thoughts in the literary works convey the theme and form a good human nature.Nowadays,there are fewer and fewer people reading,and our living environment is constantly changing.In the rapidly developing world culture,people's thinking is becoming more mechanized and singular.Therefore,restoring individual subjectivity and good human thinking is a problem faced by literature education.Literature generally plays a valuable role in education through the medium of Korean language textbooks in China,while the mandarin and literary textbooks in Korea.Literary education is an important part of Korean language teaching,which is directly reflected in textbooks.Therefore,Korean language textbooks should be studied to reveal the value of literary education.It is very important to teach literary works in textbooks to students in a better form.High school is the most important period in the development of students' thinking ability as well as physical and mental health and is also the most suitable period for literary education.In this paper,the literary works in the Chinese and Korean high school were compared through Korean language textbooks in the Ninth Educational Reform Course in China and Education Reform Course of Korea in 2015.Firstly,the importance of literary education was discussed and then the status quo of the literary education and the literary teaching theory in the two countries were compared.Secondly,the unit design and literary works' features in the two countries' Korean textbooks were analyzed with a comparative methodology to find out their differences and similarities.The problems and solutions were discovered accordingly.
