The Study Of Chinese Vocabularies In Korean High School Text-Book And College Scholastic Ability Test

Vocabularies are the essential of the language,and for the basic of Chinese.So the vocabular-ies in Chinese are so important for students who are studying Chinese as the second language.This thesis analyzes Chinese vocabularies that Korean high school students frequently meet in their textbooks and regular course classes.Learning vocabulary is considered the most important part when it comes to Second Language Learning.In this thesis,therefore,the vocabularies are analyzed according to their subjects,and this is for the improvement of student's lexical under-standing.The subjects are divided into 4 groups;the natural world,the terrestrial world,so-cial part and abstract ones.Although there are four specific groups,some vocabularies are repeat-edly shown up in several subjects.Many of the Korean high school students say that their final goal of studying is to take the Ko-rean SAT(Scholastic Ability Test).In this aspect,this thesis contains the vocabularies not only from the textbooks but from Korean SAT taken in 5 years,2012 to 2016.All the sexes are ana-lyzed based on each subject,but some vocabularies,which are related to a number,are not involved.There can exist a limitation of analyzation because each subject for analyzing the vocabu-laries is from my personal idea.Anyhow I hope this thesis functions effectively in the future to assist the authors in publishing Chinese textbooks for Korean students.
