Research On Promoting Academic Exchange Among Postgraduates In Local Universities

The quality of postgraduate training in local universities is not only related to the development of individual and local universities,but also to the development of local economy.Academic exchange among graduate students is an important part of the quality of postgraduate training.However,the academic exchange activity of postgraduates in local universities is relatively low.Some scholars began to explore the training rules of postgraduate academic exchanges from theoretical aspects,but there is still lack of empirical research.It is worthwhile to explore how to apply the relevant research theories and achievements to improve the academic exchange of postgraduates in local universities.At present,there are some problems in the academic exchange of graduate in local Universities: the academic exchange activity of graduate students is low,the degree of activity decreases with the growth of grade,and the type of academic communication is less.The quality of academic exchange activities is low.The number of graduate students to participate in international academic exchanges is few.Graduate students acquire a single channel for academic exchange information.The reasons may be: graduate students lack initiative in academic exchange.The academic values are not correct.The type of academic exchange is single.They lack of a perfect incentive system.Special funds for academic exchanges are insufficient.The academic atmosphere is not strong and so on.In view of the problems existing in the academic exchange of graduate students in local universities,combined with the theory of group dynamics,the theory of learning community and the theory of double factors,local universities can apply some measures to promote them.For example,they should find the source of the academic exchange of graduate students,correct the academic values of graduate students,promote the diversification of academic exchanges,improve the quality guarantee mechanism and incentive mechanism for academic exchange,and establish special funds for academic exchange.
