Study On Political Quality Structure Of Students In University:Theoretical Construction And Empirical Research

University students,as young people in the new era and the backbone of the future society,are important groups in promoting social development.The most direct and fundamental development of ideological and political work in colleges and universities is to cultivate and improve the political quality of college students.The cultivation and development of college students' political quality directly affects the development of himself,reflecting the ideological and political education of college students and the actual effect of whole higher education.However,what exactly is the political quality of college students? How to measure and judge? The current academic circles are not the same.Therefore,it is necessary to return to the origin of education and re-examine and grasp these issues.With the help of the knowledge of political science,sociology,psychology,and the method of combining normative research with empirical analysis,this inquiry deconstructs the political quality of college students and constructs a structural model of college students' political quality.Through questionnaires to verify the rationality and scientific structure of the model of university students' political quality,the study found that:The structure of political quality of college students includes four dimensions: political cognition,political emotion,political belief and political participation,which constitute a closed closed-loop effect.Political cognition is the premise and basis,political emotion is the driving force and bridge,political belief is the core and the destination,political participation is the guarantee and the key,and the four elements form an organic whole that influences each other and harmonizes.After empirical analysis,it can reflect the actual situation and cognitive status.The overall model has good explanatory power.The improvement and development of college students' political quality is the result of the interaction between internal and external factors.It is a dynamic development process from the input of political cognition to the output of political participation.It is also the process of interaction between individuals and society,which embodies the unity of internalization and externalization,the unity of implicitness and explicitness,the unification of content and process,the unification of process and result,and the unification of one-dimensional and multidimensional.To explore the cultivation and promotion of college students' political quality,we must grasp its four structural elements and fully consider the development characteristics of society,schools,and individuals.It is found that the political quality of college students is developing well on the whole,and the development of each factor level is unbalanced;the political emotions of college students are strong,and the political beliefs are relatively firm;the level of political cognition of college students is relatively high,and the level of political participation needs to be improved.There is a significant difference in the political quality of college students in population variables.The concrete manifestations are: boys score higher than girls in political quality and its various dimensions;Students majoring in literature and history are generally higher in political quality and in all dimensions than those majoring in science and technology.Professional college students;Party members and students scored higher in political quality and its various dimensions than non-Party students,Communist Youth League members scored in all dimensions of the middle,the masses last;graduate political recognition and political beliefs and quality overall significantly higher than undergraduate students,and the difference between them is not obvious in political emotion and political participation.There is no significant difference in the political quality of undergraduates with different academic performance,which shows that the improvement of political quality education is different from that of intellectual education.It is also found that the college students who have joined the Party have correct motives for joining the Party,and there is a little deviation in their understanding of the Party,and the exemplary role of party members is to be strengthened,and the level of party members' own political quality needs to be improved.The study found that the most significant influence on the cultivation and promotion of college students' political quality is social environment factors,followed by school factors,and then their own factors;The political quality of college students' preference should be diversified,and the key breakthrough should be taken fully.
