Quality Analysis And Empirical Research About?Happiness Scale For Chinese Citizens?

Purpose:1.To analysis the quality of “happiness scale for Chinese citizens”,inspect the reliability and validity of this scale; 2. To explore and verify the structure model of happiness, explore the relationship among subjective well-being,psychological well-being,social well-being and eudaimonic well-being;3.To explore the present situation and differences of college students' happiness; 4.To explore the predictive ability of subjective well-being, psychological well-being,social well-being and eudaimonic well-being to happiness index.Subjects and methods: Selecting college students who are from Nanchang University, Nanchang University of Aeronautics, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Chuzhou University as survey subjects, a total of 1388 valid scales were obtained. Using “happiness scale for Chinese citizens” as the research tool, using SPSS19.0 and LISREL8.53 software to analysis the data.Results:1.The reliability and validity of “happiness scale for Chinese citizens”are good:every item has good discrimination;the overall Cronbach alpha coefficient of this scale is 0.972, split half coefficient is 0.987; the Cronbach alpha coefficient of the four subscales are all above 0.8, the split half coefficient are also more than 0.6; the Cronbach alpha coefficient and split half coefficient of the 19 dimensions are above0.7; each item correlated significantly with total dimensions score, the correlation coefficients are above 0.6; the correlation coefficient of the 19 dimensions are in0.1-0.6, the correlation coefficients about each dimension and total score are in 0.357-0.805, and the correlation coefficients about each dimension and total score are significantly higher than the correlation coefficients among19 dimensions, which indicates that the scale has good validity. 2.Through confirmatory factor analysis,subjective well-being, psychological well-being, social well-being and eudaimonic well-being are fitting,the happiness integration model is good. 3. The happiness index of 1388 college students is 6.32, happiness level is relatively high, the happiness level of college students exist significant differences in the gender and subject type, the happiness level of coedna are higher than male college students, the happiness level of humanities students,science and engineering students are higher than other subject type students,but the happiness level of college students don't have significant difference in the variable of census register type and grade. 4.Subjective well-being,psychological well-being, social well-being and eudaimonic well-being canrespectively explain 34.7%, 24.6%, 21.2% and 20.1% on total variance of the happiness index; life satisfaction, positive affect, negative affect, personal growth,subjective vitality, positive relationship, altruistic behavior, social integration,personal expressiveness can explain 38.9% total variance of the happiness index,these six dimensions can predict happiness index well.Conclusion: “Happiness scale for Chinese citizens” has a reasonable structure model, its reliability and validity meet measurement requirements, can be used to measure Chinese citizens' happiness as a measurement tool.Happiness levels of college students is relatively high,happiness level of college students has significant difference in sex and subject type,but the happiness level of college students don't have significant difference in the variable of census register type and grade.Subjective well-being, psychological well-being, social well-being and eudaimonic well-being have significant positive predictive ability to happiness index.
