Under the strategic environment of " the belt and road initiative",Beibu gulf ushered in a new chapter of economic development,spreading and carrying forward excellent historical culture in coastal areas is conducive to enhancing the influence and voice of Beibu gulf region and strengthening the soft power of urban culture.As a local talent training base,vocational schools are also responsible for spreading and promoting local culture.Based on the connotation of the five core cultures in beihai region,this paper refines beihai cultural values,integrates beihai core culture with the second classroom construction of vocational schools,exerts the unique role of local culture in cultivating students' professional spirit,and realizes the important function of vocational schools in spreading and promoting local culture.Starting from the background of local policies,economic development needs and the market competitiveness of secondary vocational school students,this paper puts forward the necessity,purpose and practical significance of building a secondary vocational school classroom with local cultural characteristics.The article discusses the viewpoints with the theories of " Marxist cultural theory"," constructivism"," the ability view of all-round development of human beings" and "teaching integration".it demonstrates the importance and necessity of the research subject through questionnaire survey,problem analysis,field investigation and experience reference.it also analyzes the specific methods of constructing the second classroom with the core cultural characteristics of beihai vocational school,the main ways of vocational school spreading local culture and the effect of implementation,etc.This article believes that the combination of beihai core culture and vocational education is conducive to improving the practical significance of vocational education for local personnel training and to highlighting the characteristics of vocational education in beihai city.it has practical significance and is worthy of continuous research and discussion by educators.
