With the publication and release of the textbook for Junior high school compiled by the Ministry in 2016,the consciousness of national sovereignty has been clearly reflected.A teacher should change the teaching concept and embody the national sovereignty consciousness education in the teaching process.Building the "wave breakwater" in the ideological field for the young people to deal with the impact of the globalization trend and cultivate and improve their national sovereignty consciousness,which related to the national sovereignty security and national unity.In the present study,three parts are used to research how to carry on the national sovereignty consciousness education in the senior high school history teaching.The first part: define and summarize the connotation of "national sovereignty consciousness" by drawing lessons from relevant and similar studies.The second part: make the questionnaire of high school students’ national sovereignty consciousness under the national conditions of China and using this questionnaire as a tool to collect data to find out the problems and influencing factors.The third part: discusses how to carry on the national sovereignty consciousness education in the senior high school history teaching by combining the history teaching practice.The paper points out that in order to do a good job in the education of national sovereignty in senior high school history teaching,first of all,teachers need to understand the concept of national sovereignty consciousness;secondly,they should select carefully from the complicated materials and use various teaching methods and models in the history classroom.Teachers should improve their own quality and need to maintain the concept of national sovereignty.Only by setting an example can we afford the word "normal".At the same time,teacher should take into full account the college entrance examination,teaching tasks,and psychological characteristics of high school students,and carry out appropriate national sovereignty awareness education for students,so as to complete the cultivation of students’ emotional attitude and values.Focus on the effectiveness of education,not just shout slogans.Facing the need of college entrance examination and social reality,the history teaching of senior high school carries on the national sovereignty consciousness education to the students,training the students’ national identity and pride.The responsibility is heavy but the road is long,which need the general history teacher to spend a great deal of time and painstakingly to explore.
