Research On The Impact Of Popular Culture On Ideological And Political Education And Measures

With the rapid development of science and technology and the widespread use of modern means of communication in our country,popular culture has been widely watched and favored by the public and spread and developed rapidly as a product of the multicultural development of the democratic and open era culture.College students are active,perceptive and receptive to new things.That makes college students a major player,consumer,creator and promoter in popular culture.On the one hand,popular culture can expand college students' horizon and enrich their campus life.Students can acquire new information,new ideas and new knowledge from popular culture.On the other hand,due to the weak ability of college students to distinguish popular culture,the value orientation,aesthetic standard and moral cultivation of college students have been affected by the influence of popular culture.Ideological and political education workers must guide college students to understand the popular culture correctly and objectively.They should strive to reduce and avoid the negative impact of popular culture,play the positive significance of pop culture to college students,and improve the effectiveness of their work.This thesis systematically discusses the concept and characteristics of popular culture and emphatically analyzed the positive and negative effects of popular culture in college students' ideological and political education.Some Suggestions and countermeasures are put forward to improve the ideological and political education work in the end.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part: summarize the research significance,domestic and foreign research status of this paper.The second part: defining the concept of popular culture.Classify the characteristics of popular culture as dynamic,commercial,entertaining,technical.Summarize the main forms of popular culture in colleges and universities.The third part: discusses the positive influences and negative impacts of popular culture on college students' ideological and political education.The popular culture has expand the carrier of education of college students' ideology and politics,promote the socialization and subjectification of ideological and political education,and improve the effectiveness of education.On the contrary,the popular culture distorts the values of some college students,trigger the high consumption behavior of college students,and aggravates the cultural environment of ideological and political education.It brings serious challenges to the ideological and political education of college students.The forth part: Aiming at the negative influence of popular culture on college students,and puts forward the coping strategies of education.This paper discusses how to avoid and minimize the negative impact from three aspects.Firstly,strengthening the leading role of socialist core values.Secondly,play the positive influence of pop culture to college students ideological and political education.Last but not least,to strengthen the correct cognition and judgment of college students on popular culture.
