The existence and development of human society can not be separated with the moisture of culture. Meanwhile, the inheritance and development of culture mainly depend on education. Ideological and Political education has a dual education function by thought and culture. People will have a choice to accept the social norms and cultural values and have a change from the biology individual into a number of society on the cultural significance with the help of Ideological and Political education.Since the 80s of the 20th century, there have to be a great and through-going change, such as the rapid development of economic construction, the variation of social structure, the renewal of science and technology and the great change of peoples thinking. The popular culture which is interesting, entertaining and interactive as a type of multicultural spreads quickly and go into the campus deeply. It have a profound impact on the ideological and behavioral patterns of university students.Meanwhile, as a cultural phenomenon, the popular culture receives more and more attention and favor in contemporary society. The paper studys Ideological and Political education from the perspective of popular culture. First of all, the paper defines the meaning of popular culture, and briefly discusses the main features of popular culture and its social significance; and then discusses the impact the ideas of popular culture on college students. In this basis, analysis the conflict and fit between the popular culture and the Ideological and Political education. In the end, the writer hope that the study of the popular culture may provide useful inspiration and reference for Ideological and Political education for college students.
