Objective: To explore the role of functional strength training in the training of young badminton players,to understand the influence of functional strength training on the physical shape,physical function,special physical quality and functional movements of young badminton players,and to reveal the characteristics and value of functional strength training and thus to provide a reference basis for physical training for young badminton athletes,with the purpose of improving the theoretical system of physical training for adolescents.Methods:Twenty male athletes(9-12 years old)of Xi'an Youth Sports School badminton team were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.By referring to literature data,expert interview,and carrying out experiments.And control group used the traditional strength training program,while the functional strength training content was added on the basis of traditional strength training every Tuesday,Thusday and Saturday.The training time and exercise load of the two groups were similar.The experiment lasted for a total of 3 months and 5 weeks is a training period.At the stage,the intensity and difficulty of the training action and the number of training groups were gradually increased to achieve progressive training goals.Before and after the experiment,the body shape,function,diathesis,FMS and other indicators were tested for both groups of subjects.The results were statistically processed using mathematical statistics.The independent sample T test was used between the groups and the paired T test was performed within the group.P < 0.05 was used as the significance level.Results:(1)After 3 months of functional strength training,the body circumference index of the experimental group athletes had a significant increase in the degree of upper limbs(P<0.05),while other morphological indicators did not change significantly,but overall,the experimental group athletes The indicators of the items showed an increasing trend;among the indicators of the control group,only the left calf circumference index had a significant change(P<0.05).(2)After 3 months of functional strength training,the vital capacity and body mass index(breathing function)of the athletes in the experimental group significantly increased(P<0.05),but the change in the step index(cardiovascular system function)was not significant.The vital capacity of the control group athletes also increased significantly(P<0.05),but the increase was lower than the experimental group,and the step index did not change significantly.(3)After 3 months of functional strength training,the athletes in the experimental group significantly improved their specific physical fitness(P<0.05),for example,the badminton throwing,20m×5 returning,and 1min double shaking.The effect was significantly better than that of the control group.The two groups of athletes had a very significant improvement in the five indicators of standing long jump,5 times back and forth run,400 m,10 low center of gravity footwork and hexagonal jump(P<0.05).In the 1cm sit-ups index,the effect of training after training in the control group was better than the experimental group.(4)After 3 months of functional strength training,the experimental group athletes scored significantly more in the functional movement screening test than in the control group(P<0.05).For example: deep squat,straight line Leg amputation,shoulder flexibility,and active leg lift were significantly higher in the two groups(P<0.05),while the control group scored in the body rotation stability index.The increase is significantly better than the experimental group.Conclusion:(1)15 weeks of functional strength training had no significant effect on most of the body shape indicators of young male badminton athletes,but it had some positive effect on some body shape indicators,mainly on the index of upper limb circumference.(2)15 weeks of functional strength training has a certain role in promoting the physical function of young male badminton athletes.It is manifested in improving the performance of athletes' respiratory system,but has limited effect on the improvement of athletes' cardiovascular function.(3)In general,the functional strength training group and the traditional strength training group in this study can improve the specific physical fitness level of young male badminton athletes and have positive effects on the athletes' speed endurance,sensitivity speed,and lower limb explosiveness.The role of the functional strength training group on coordination,multi-sensitivity and other complex quality indicators of the improvement of the range is significantly better than the traditional strength training group,the training of the two groups in the short term has limited effects on the improvement of the flexibility quality.(4)Through functional strength training,it can effectively improve the quality of functional movement of young badminton players,improve the athletes' weak link in sports,reduce the compensatory movement in sports,and lay a good foundation for athletes' physical fitness.
