Badminton is a sport skill dominated separated net confrontation class athletes the skills to dominate, while the need to have agile sensitive quality, fast strength, aerobic capacity and better flexibility, so in the game in order to assist the technical level of athletes let athletes in the initiative. Currently, high-level national badminton team attaches great importance to the physical training of athletes in recent years, the development of physical training, theory constantly updated, our Administration the introduction of advanced methods and means of physical training, functional strength training is the research focus.The purpose of this article is to explore the impact of functional strength training for Badminton Players capacities, especially speed and strength. Use of literature, questionnaire, expert interviews, mathematical statistics and experimental methods to Beijing Jiaotong University Badminton specific course of 20 athletes as experimental subjects, through eight weeks of tracking and experiments to explore the function of the functional strength Badminton Athletes Training on speed and strength, the following conclusions:1. Functional strength training can significantly improve core strength and balance badminton athletes. Core strength experiment experimental group of athletes, balance compared with the control group significantly improved. Paired T test within the group for further analysis conducted two nuclear indicators drawn two subjects were significantly improved compared to, but functional strength training is better.2. Functional strength training can significantly improve badminton athletes’ power, athletes in the experimental group after the experimental high turn, standing long jump and throwing solid ball after a significant increase. Paired T test carried out within the group for further analysis derived three core subjects indicator groups were significantly improved, but the functional strength training is better.3. Functional strength training can significantly improve the speed quality badminton athletes, high leg lift run after the experiment the experimental group of athletes, darts tests, Illinois test, Nebraska and sprint tests were significantly improved. Paired T test carried out within the group for further analysis derived five core indicators groups of subjects were significantly improved, but the functional strength training is better.
