Backgrounds:For The purpose of movement screening,Functional Movement Screen(FMS) is widely Used and accepted in Competitive sports and fitness. The study demonstrates its importance from the aspects of body posture、movement pattern remodeling. From the whole of body or kinematic chain to objectively and comprehensively assess the function of body, using seven test of FMS, starting from the movement screening, diagnosis, correction and optimization of movement patterns, proposing its very important about coordination of human movement function, developing of the sports and sports injury risk aversion, improving movement efficiency and promoting the competitive level.Especially the adolescence is a critical stage in the formation of the fundamental physical ability, this period of physical development affects the development of special competitive vitality in the future. Therefore, using FMS and correction to the young athletes, discover the limitations of the basic movements, has very important practical significance to prevent the occurrence of injury. This study mainly on using FMS to screen the Juvenile Badminton Players, and formulating intervention program,to provide a scientific training assessment of movement competency baseline, so as to provide experimental reference for practical application.Subject and method:Badminton special student athletes of Shanghai Institute of Physical Education were examined(N=21).Medical questionnaires, informed consent were obtained before the start of the study, the 21 players were tested by FMS. Through a period of 8 weeks of corrective intervention training, According to FMS standards and requirements strictly test to athletes, and by using high-definition camera to take photos and record. The evaluator is who trained personnel to assess, through the video playback of repeated scoring to ensure consistent scoring standard. According to the problems, develop targeted corrective intervention training scheme, and were arranged in the preparatory activities and relaxation training stage. Carried out for a period of 8 weeks of correction training, after the second test by FMS to compare the FMS score in the pre-participation and off-participation, functional actions remodeling, quality of movement. The FMS total score and the scores were analyzed by paired sample T test before and after the intervention.Using independent samples T test to analyze the difference of FMS scores in different categories,To explore the relationship between FMS and athletes.Results:(1)The total scores of FMS is 21.the highest score of 18, The lowest score of 10;the average score of players was 14.14 ± 1.740;14 is the baseline, which score >14 with 7people, accounted for 33.3% of the total number,<=14 points with 14 people, accounted for 66.7% of the total number. Tree test scores higher of which Shoulder Mobility, Trunk Stability Push-Up, Active Straight Leg Raise.(2)There are 5 of 7 movements found that the right side is dominant side action scored significantly higher than the left, Players around the body asymmetry problem is moreserious. The most serious problem of asymmetric test items are as follows: In-line Lunge, Hurdle Step,Shoulder Mobility, the number of asymmetric followed by18,11,11,the number of asymmetry is relatively few in Rotary Stability and Active Straight Leg Raise, respectively 8 and 5.(3)In the total scores, girls’ scores higher than boys; in the 7 movement tests, the scores of Hurdle Step and Rotary Stability are lowest. girls scores of the Hurdle Step was significantly higher than boys( P = 0.002); boys scores of the Trunk Stability Push-Up was significantly higher than girls( P = 0.027); Different gender of the adolescent badminton players had no difference in the Deep Squat, In-line Lunge,Shoulder Mobility,Active Straight Leg Raise,Rotary Stability,Trunk Stability Push-Up and FMS score, but Hurdle Step reflects significant difference.(4)After 8 weeks of training intervention FMS scores were significantly increased(P= 0.001); among them, Deep Squat, Trunk Stability Push-Up, Rotary Stability both of pre test and post test scores get significantly improved, but not Active Straight Leg Raise. After intervention training, athlete symmetric situation has improved, but the problem still exists.(5)Through the analysis of the relationship between FMS score and Athletic performance, found that there no direct correlation,Can not directly predict the performance of athletes. After correction training, badminton special quality "ten times with a low center of gravity four point running performance is improved, indicating that the FMS test and its correction training can effectively improve the quality of movement and promote physical quality level and take foundation for promote the physical fitness level of athletes.Conclusion:(1)The outcome of this study shows,Youth badminton athlete’s body asymmetry in movement patterns and imbalance problem is prominent,Motor control ability is weak.meanwhile, The boys function stability ability is stronger, girls function flexibility is stronger. however, young athletes of postural stability, symmetry and motion control ability still need to be strengthened.(2)After 8 weeks of FMS corrective intervention training, the young badminton players FMS scores were improved.among them, Deep Squat, Trunk Stability Push-Up, Rotary Stability, Active Straight Leg Raise, Shoulder Mobility test scores get significantly improved. After intervention training shows: The movement patterns of asymmetry has improved, but the problem of asymmetric difficulty high level movement patterns still exist.(3)combined of FMS which is a newly emerging science training concept, According to the problems of the test, this study give some measurements and suggestions for the badminton athlete training baseline,8 weeks of FMS corrective intervention training As far as possible, avoided the compensatory motion of the energy leakage, improve the body movement of the weak links of the chain so as to promote the physical training.
