As a kind of feedback of civilization,reading has been given the value of more times,and has become an important symbol to measure the civilized degree of a nation and national civilization.The current society is changing with each passing day.The content and way of reading are gradually diversified.This dynamic cultural phenomenon forces us to track the reading status of different periods and regions at any time and carry out relevant investigation and research in order to form pertinent theoretical guidance.As the educated group of the specific age,the individualized reading thinking and cognitive mode of junior high school students are becoming mature,so it is necessary to investigate and study the extracurricular reading of middle school students.Based on the basic characteristics of students in Tonghua,the author designs a questionnaire covering four dimensions and conducts questionnaires in three secondary schools in Tonghua.Through the investigation,it is found that the extracurricular reading of junior high school students in Tonghua has a positive and active trend,but there are also some problems,such as: strong burnout in the reading process,lack of strong willpower,more inclined to entertaining and superficial books,and the lack of gravity in classroom teaching to dispel students' reading interest.Interest,which leads to the students' reading utilitarianism too strong,the lack of teacher's role and lack of scientific guidance,causes unordered reading behavior.Under the impact of the new media environment,the reading atmosphere is poor,reading cognitive ability is not strong,and the self consciousness is weak.In view of the problems and the influencing factors in the investigation,the author believes that the following aspects should be improved in the following aspects: first,junior middle school students should take the initiative in the process of self reading,not the inherent reading cognition of superstition,the individualized understanding,the release of reading creativity,and the second,teachers.The students' reading should be guided scientifically,the guidance of reading interest,the guidance of reading methods,the temper of reading will,and the evaluation of reading,and so on.Again,parents should help students to develop good reading habits.The school should build a professional reading guidance system and strengthen teachers' reading special.The training of professional ability expands the new way of reading promotion.
