In education,moral first.The current high school ideological and political education in our country,carries on the moral education as the primary purpose,to impart moral ideology,patriotic feelings,and under the core values to guide students to establish correct outlook on life,values,world view,enhance their sense of social responsibility and collective sense of responsibility,take the important task of cultivating qualified citizens of "four haves" and "five love" for our country.Among them,social responsibility is one of the outstanding traditions of the Chinese nation.Only citizens with strong sense of social responsibility will take the initiative to undertake the task of building a harmonious society and prosperous China.Therefore,it is very important for contemporary middle school students to improve their social responsibility.Students as the future builders of our country,the hope of national development,their moral growth has attracted many social attentions,to cultivate their social responsibility is also an important content of current education reform in our country.But in real life,because of the complex social environment,the education ideals and methods of family and school education,also many other factors,bring out some problems on cultivating middle school students’ social responsibility,the effect of moral education is not optimistic.Therefore,it is of great significance to enhance the social responsibility of middle school students and strengthen the development of students’ moral conduct.This paper is based on literature review and relative theories,collecting data from questionnaires,then analyze the reasons that for the weakening of the social responsibility consciousness of middle school students at the present stage and put forward the countermeasures.Specifically,the paper contains four parts.Part one elaborates the background and significance of the topic selection,and summarizes the existing theoretical achievements and the current research status of the research in China and abroad.Part two elaborates the concept of social responsibility,and analyzes the importance of cultivating the social responsibility of middle school students.Pointed out that the social responsibility consciousness of middle school students is the important guarantee for the future social development and it is the core content of implementing quality education and new curriculum system.Part three takes Guizhou normal university as an example,according to the questionnaire and teachers’ interviews,points out some main problems of the current middle school students’ social responsibility: such as in terms of social morality,the lack of initiative responsibility consciousness;In the pursuit of ideals and values,too individualistic,lack of dedication;Lack of active participation in social activities,in patriotic expression,there is irrational patriotic behavior.Then,the reasons were analyzed from four aspects: social factors,family factors,school and teacher factors and personal factors.Part four focuses on the development of social responsibility of middle school students to discuss the corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions,which is also an important part of this thesis.From a social perspective,government departments,social groups and organizations at all levels should create a better environment for middle school students,lead the right public opinion direction,thus to create a better environment conditions for improving middle school students’ social responsibility;At the family level,parents should pay more attentions in cultivating their childrens’ consciousness of responsibility in daily life,and make ideological and psychological guidance in life precept,lead by example.From the perspective of the students individuals,it is suggested to improve their independent learning ability,strengthen their own education,and establish a positive attitude towards life.From the perspective of school and teachers,it is suggested that teachers should follow teaching principles and according to the law of mental development of students in the cultivation of social responsibility.On teaching methods,it is suggested that teachers should be based on current political affairs and life cases as the carrier,flexible use of independent inquiry method,emotion cultivate method,and cooperative learning method and so on in the classroom teaching to the students in the cultivation of the sense of social responsibility.
