Research Towards Teachers’ Image Based On Imago-logy Theory

Along with the development and reformation of school education,the requirements of teacher has become more strict,how PE teachers’ image would influence students is related to the entire education quality of the sports discipline and the future development of school education.Therefore,it is very important to continuously improve and optimize the good image of PE teachers.College PE teachers’ image is divided into two main images,internal image and external image.Internal image contains innovation image,knowledge image,virtue image and language image.External image contains self image,body image,instrument image and body image.This article is based on comprehensive and thorough investigation and research towards college PE teachers’ image,in order to improve the quality of PE teachers and providing a better scientific basis and theoretical reference of optimization of building and managing college PE teachers teams.The main theoretical results are:(1)The overall image evaluation by Jinzhou University Students towards Jinzhou University PE teachers is “above average”.(2)The image evaluation towards the other seven images besides knowledge image has a very significant gender difference.The image evaluation has significant difference between different grades.(3)The self image evaluation of Jinzhou Universities’ PE teachers turns out to be internal image evaluation is higher than external image evaluation.(4)Comparing PE teachers whom received different levels of education,there is no significant difference between body image,instrument image and knowledge image.Significant difference occurs between language image,virtue image,ability image,innovation image and self image.Significant difference of all eight image evaluations occurs between different age groups.
